We've all heard it - Gen AI is changing our future. But practical, real-life experiments have not been much shared or discussed openly. Together with ISS Palvelut, we today launched an intriguing experiment with two teams aiming for the same goal, to create a digital service for ISS, with different means - one with modern agile software development methods and the other with added AI tools in all phases of the project. There has been numerous predictions, estimations and thoughts (sometimes a bit fluffy IMO) about the impact of Large Language Models and Generative AI in software engineering, delivering digital products and platforms or building solutions in general. I am proud to present that together with ISS Services we're not just predicting or estimating. We're doing. Join us and Solita stream of content during the following weeks and months about us building things in parallel. We're building exactly the same solution in a traditional lean and agile way and next to it with 100% GenAI assisted approach. We're measuring the velocity, documenting the pitfalls, key learnings and the needs for us all to unlearn and simply presenting it for all of you to learn. The Twin Project resulted in quite profound changes in the way of working. We have some rather bold claims of the CollabAI method: 100x faster iterations, 500x decision making speed and 90% of coordination meetings eliminated.
