Wishing you a very merry Christmas, from all at HBSUK! We would like to take this opportunity to thank our incredible team, as well as our partners, clients and suppliers for all their diligent work over the last year helping to improve healthcare delivery across the UK. 2024 has brought many highlights for us, including: 👉 Our acquisition by AXA Health in February, marking an exciting new chapter in HBSUK’s mission to make healthcare better. 👉 The launch of our first fully blended digital and insourcing services in neurology and urology at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Trust, including our first full integration with HL7 systems, setting a new benchmark in digital outpatient solutions. 👉 Marking Virtual Lucy’s 300,000th patient, enhancing access to care and improving outcomes nationwide. 👉 Supporting a south-west trust with insourcing robot lists to deliver high intensity theatre lists for improved efficiency, and weekend bariatric work to enable the trust to be the best in the country for length of stay. 👉 Partnering with 7 new trusts to deliver insourcing. 👉 Seeing Lucy Cassidy, our Product Director, featured in the UKTech50 list of the most influential tech leaders in the UK. 👉 Hosting our highly successful Comms Day, where our valued colleagues gathered to team-build and hear more about the previous 12 months’ achievements. 👉 Launching new pathways through Virtual Lucy, including Dermatology, Digestive Health, Cardiology, Neurology and Urology, bringing innovative solutions to healthcare providers and patients alike. 👉 Celebrating Dr. Abdul Seckam and the Research and Insights team for their outstanding achievements, including completing over nine studies focused on governance, patient care, and clinical research. Abdul has also made remarkable academic contributions, with more than five manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed journals, collaborations with higher education institutions in England, Wales, and South Africa, and a contribution to the book Myths of Menopause. 👉 Welcoming many new valuable colleagues, such as our new CEO, Keith Misson, who’s leading us into a bright future with vision and passion, as well as highly experienced and qualified members of our Medical Advisory Board. 👉 Many other memorable social events and team gatherings! Once again, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous 2025!
