I recently participated in an exciting two-day hackathon at Google, thanks to an invitation from Sophie Robson, the visionary founder of Invntz™. Our challenge? Build an app from scratch in just two days—a big shift from the longer projects I’m used to. The event kicked off with an inspiring talk on Google Cloud by Sebastian Haire, a Google team member who set the stage for an intense yet rewarding experience. While I’m confident with React, using TypeScript was a new challenge. But this hackathon was about much more than just coding. It was about teamwork, adaptability, and pushing beyond my limits. A conversation with Jonas Almgren during the event really motivated me when the pressure was on. A special thanks to Ali Zahid for his incredible support and management throughout the event. His help was invaluable and kept us all motivated. What truly inspired me was learning more about Invntz™. Their mission is to develop net-zero products that help protect our planet, its people, and animals. Sophie’s big ideas left a lasting impression on me, reminding me of the importance of dreaming big, staying disciplined, and never giving up on what I want to achieve. This experience reinforced my belief that with determination and a solid plan, we can make our dreams a reality. I’m walking away from this hackathon with new skills, fresh perspectives, and a stronger drive to push forward and achieve my goals. #Hackathon #Innovation #Teamwork #GrowthMindset #Inspiration #Google #Invntz™
