Feeling rather proud as today is the launch of Nature’s Workforce. A tool that has been created by the National Trust, WWF-UK and the RSPB as part of the #SaveOurWildIsles campaign. It helps you to ask right questions, shape discussions and collaborate with colleagues to make a plan for action that will benefit your company and our natural world. We surveyed the UK public and found that 62% of people feel their employer should be doing more to tackle issues such as nature loss and climate change. But 42% don’t feel confident to start a conversation on the subject. All workplaces, no matter their size or what they do, have a huge impact on the natural world. As an employee, we all have a powerful voice which can initiate changes to help our workplace bring nature back from the brink. We created it in collaboration with employees from diverse industries, working in different roles and across varying levels of seniority to ensure it gives everyone, no matter what they do, the practical resources, accessible information and simple steps, to have conversations for change. Brilliant campaign! Small changes add up, and finding a way to help people to understand the power and influence they can have over behaviours across their professional and personal networks is vital. Thank you 👏
