We have all experienced incredible speakers present. But what 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 from the rest? I believe it is their ability to: Be 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Bring themselves into it. Be personal. Bring your passion. Be 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Not only know your audience, but find ways to connect with them. Be 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴. Able to 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵 with the audience, 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸 them in, 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘦 them to participate, rather than being a passive witness. Be of 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. Provide concrete, actionable takeaways. Provide tangible ways for the audience to implement the ideas in their own life. A great speaker isn't just heard. They are 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 and 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥. ______________________________________ Interested in becoming a more engaging presentor? I love helping people get started. Let’s chat! From dream to vision to success. Stop writing to EVERYONE. When your message is for everyone ↳ it resonates with NO ONE. Now look---Your audience has: ↳ specific needs ↳ pain points ↳ desires. If you don’t address them directly → they’ll move on. Your copy should speak to those: ↳ who matter MOST. → Speak their language. → Address their fears. → Show them you get it. The right message makes people feel seen ↳ That’s where CONVERSIONS happen. Because when you know YOUR people → the RESULTS follow. P.S: Let’s discover the true audience... ↳ for your BUSINESS together. → DM "Emotion" now!! Until next time, Ayesha

Get the audience hooked from the first words that come out of your mouth! Here are 4 great ideas on how to start your speech or presentation 🔥: 1. Silence When you walk up on that stage, use those few heartbeat moments to raise the tension in the room. Remember 👉 if you want to get attention - raise the tension! 2. What if … It's an entrance to a captivating story. It can be a question, it can be realistic or imaginary… 3. Factual introduction It's all about numbers, statistics and facts … It’s important to understand the numbers here, esp. how they cascade in importance. Note 👉 you need to punch the numbers with your voice. 4. I invite you on a journey … A journey is basically a storyteller's way of introducing an agenda. 5. Raise your hand if you … This intro comes in very handy esp. when your presentation is a decision-making pitch. You need that agreement from the get-go! It’s also great if your audience is compliant by doing what you say, by raising their hand, they are following your lead. Which introduction will you try next time? Let me know in the comments 🌟.

The beginning is always the hardest. • For building an audience • Starting a business • Writing a book The “hard” comes from a lack of clarity — nothing feels intuitive (yet). This is why “just start” is fantastic advice. The action of starting creates momentum eventually, but more importantly: clarity.

Somebody asked me for help in crafting their testimonial about a recent keynote I delivered. Testimonials are gifts, and like all gifts, we want to make sure they fit. So I deeply appreciated the clarifying questions...it means they care and they want to get it as right as can be. It also reminds me that not everyone knows what I think everyone knows. So if you are asking for (or have been asked to write) a testimonial, here is a way to craft it. 1) name where your audience was pre-talk 2) name a little of the content 3) speak to the shift as a result of the talk 4) name the anticipated longer term impact of that shift Pro-tip: if you're about to deliver a talk, write out your ideal testimonial based on the above...it will help keep you focused on the right things and will make your keynote even that much more potent. What would you add? 📷 : Margot Daley

Tell people what you want them to do. It sounds simple, but it's powerful. People need clear direction. If you want them to "Click here now," say it. If you want them to "Look at this," be direct. If you want them to "Watch this video," ask them to do just that. Don’t assume people will know what step to take next. Guide them. Be clear and direct in your calls to action. "Download this guide." "Sign up today." "Share this with a friend." These simple prompts can make all the difference. When you tell people what to do, you remove uncertainty. You make it easy for them to engage with your content. And when they know what to do next, they're more likely to take action. So don’t be shy. Spell it out. Use strong, clear language. Your audience will appreciate the guidance. And you’ll see better results. Remember, clarity leads to action.
