One of the most frequently asked questions that starting Pinterest managers ask me is: "How do I get new clients as a Pinterest manager?" Wondering how to get new clients without taking action, doesn't work. If I were starting on Pinterest today and wanted to grow an audience and business, I wouldn't change a thing: - Sign up for a Pinterest business account - Learn every day more about the platform - Get started with Pinterest best practices - Experiment and grow your own Pinterest account - Write content about your experiences and results - Be active on social media and share your insights - Connect with brands you want to work with - Engage with other Pinterest managers and creators Remember, you don't need € to start a business. There are plenty of free tools and platforms where you can grow your audience. You can even use LinkedIn for free to: - Connect with others - Send newsletters - Share messages - Write articles By sharing my experiences and results on social media every day, year after year, I was approached by brands asking if I could help them with Pinterest. That's how I started my business. If I can do it, you can do it too. Remember: Be patient and get started 💪 Agree? Repost to share with others ♻ Source: Archana Haarnack 🙋🏻♀️

The first in our series of who really NEEDS to be on Pinterest. You've seen us harping on about Pinterest and how we're on a mission to get more New Zealand businesses using it properly. Well, now we want to focus on a few specific industries and teach you why it's a no brainer for you to add Pinterest to your arsenal. (yes, ANOTHER platform. We get it.) You might be a life coach, a love coach, a pet coach or a sports coach. Maybe you're a business coach or a money coach. Doesn't really matter the specifics. But if you're a coach and you work online then this is for you even more so. If you want to reach an entirely new audience, one that may not find you on Facebook or Instagram, and in particular if you are open to an international audience, Pinterest is incredible. When looking for tips on how to solve a problem, how to cope with things that arise in life - you'd be amazed how many people head to Pinterest, and it's not just females these days! The stats are showing the number of men using the platform is on the rise also. All those blogs and articles you've written, giving amazing advice - they can all go on Pinterest, and guess what? They link to your website or wherever you would like - increasing traffic to your website and giving you a better shot and building know, like and trust with these potential new clients. It's amazing!! Vanity metrics on Pinterest! I love to see the numbers increase on my monthly views. But the reality is this number fluctuates more than the tides. While I include the monthly views in my articles about Pinterest accounts- it may not be the best measure of how a business is actually performing. I do love seeing the 10M+ monthly views (when Pinterest stops counting) but that doesn't necessarily translate to products sold. So consider these Pinterest metrics instead: Impressions- How often your content is seen Engagement Rate- Interactions with your content divided by impressions Saves- How many of your pins are saved Clicks- How many people click on your links These metrics don't ebb and flow with the seasons or promotions like monthly views. Building a loyal following and growing your followers can be more helpful in understanding your audience. Focus on what matters. Track metrics that align with your business goals. Then you will know the effectiveness of your Pinterest strategy. As long as you sell to the people who are interested in your products that is the ultimate success. So pin for your consumer!

How did you end September? For me👇 PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Today, I checked the analytics of a Pinterest account and beheld fantastic results. The account had gained over 200k impressions and over 8k outbound clicks. The thing is, I had stopped pinning since August, yet, the blog connected to this account had 8000 visitors from Pinterest only. With no ads run! And that's the beauty of Pinterest. Once you've created relevant content for a target audience, Pinterest will continue to push your pins to them. Unlike some social media platforms, your pins on Pinterest have a long shelf life. So if you're still doubting the power of Pinterest for your business growth, this is your sign. If you need an experienced Pinterest Manager to help you drive organic traffic for your business, comment Pinterest. P.S.: Meanwhile, how has September been for you? I shared mine in the comments.

Think Instagram isn't for your business? 🤔 You might be surprised! I've chatted with many business owners who dismiss Instagram as a viable platform, often favouring LinkedIn instead. But here's why Instagram deserves a second look: 🌍 Massive audience: Think 2 BILLION active monthly users worldwide! Over 33 million of these are here in the UK. 🤳 Young and engaged: A huge chunk of users (over 60%!) are between 18 and 34, a prime demographic for many businesses. 📈 Research hub: More than half of users actively follow and research brands on the platform. 🎬 Content variety: From fun Reels to informative carousels, there's a format for every brand personality. And let's be honest, it's just a bit more fun and lighthearted over there! 😉 If you're curious about how Instagram could help your business grow, drop me a message and let's chat about your specific needs. I'm happy to share some tailored tips.
