For your summer reading list!
X-Ray Fashion is back on the road again, and it is the greatest pleasure to see people’s reactions after walking through it. The first impressions have been great, often emotional, sometimes with a side of frustration. We are so happy to have these conversations picked up again, seeing what resonates, what challenges, and what gives hope. The other day in Egypt, we had a visitor who, after walking through the experience, expressed his frustration. How he thought change sounded almost too easy, and it is not. Change is not easy and it comes with major sacrifices, risks, losses and the scariest of all things, the unknown. Perhaps change means something positive on one end but something disastrous on the other. It can be tricky, confusing and often seemingly hopeless. Creating X-Ray Fashion has been a never-ending research project. Always questioning, discovering, learning. It was not easy at all, but so worth it! We wanted the learnings to be expanded beyond the VR experience, and that is how the X-Ray Fashion Playbook was born. An easy access to understanding our personal choices, our wardrobe and their influence. A tool to engage and empower people through knowledge. We handed this playbook over to our frustrated visitor, who walked away with a bit of hope. And now we want to share it with you too. We recommend the first exercise as a starting point where we invite you to explore your wardrobe and reflect on the stories you discover in it. How does your wardrobe look like based on facts and feelings? We are curious to hear what you find. Go and read the playbook, play with it, question it, criticise it. Talk to us, talk to others, question yourself, us, them. That is how change happens. Not easy at all, but boy, is it worth it! https://lnkd.in/d_3dvD76
