Kasey Brown’s Post

He has ~15k followers, but he should have 1M. This is Jason Wright. This is a series where I spotlight leaders more people should know about. Every day I help CEOs and Executives build their brands online to help them increase impact and income. Leaders like Jason Wright are legends and should be household names. If you don’t know him yet, let me catch you up: → First Black president of an NFL team - Washington Commanders → Former NFL running back (Falcons, Browns, and Cardinals). → Undergraduate degree in psychology from Northwestern University → MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business → Past life as a consultant at McKinsey & Company Jason Wright isn’t just a leader—he’s a case study in adaptability, vision, and redefining what’s possible. Here’s why Jason should be on everyone’s radar: 1 → Leadership Under Pressure: Jason didn’t inherit an easy role. He stepped into the Commanders during a time of controversy and instability. Yet, he’s led with transparency, humility, and bold decisions to transform the organization. Real leaders shine in the toughest moments, not just the easy ones. 2 → Bridging Business and Sports: With a background in consulting and strategy, Jason blends business acumen with his deep understanding of the game. His unique perspective is reshaping how NFL teams operate. Your diverse experiences are your superpower. Bring them all to the table. 3 → Your story will inspire others: As the first Black president of an NFL team, Jason is breaking barriers and inspiring others to dream bigger. When you break through ceilings, you don’t just succeed for yourself—you pave the way for others. Why Jason Should Build His Brand Outside of Football: → His leadership lessons apply to every industry, not just sports. → His story would resonate with anyone navigating high-pressure roles. → His transparency and authenticity could build a loyal audience that follows him wherever he goes next. Where Jason Should Focus: → LinkedIn: Share behind-the-scenes insights into running an NFL team, leadership lessons, and organizational transformation. → Instagram: Showcase the human side of his journey—family, the grind, and personal reflections. People want to connect with the person behind the title. → YouTube: Long-form content breaking down leadership lessons and sharing actionable advice for young leaders. The Big Picture: Jason Wright has already broken barriers and transformed an NFL team. But his insights and story deserve a much bigger platform. Building a personal brand isn’t just about fame—it’s about creating impact and leaving a legacy that extends beyond your current role. Jason’s story proves that leadership, adaptability, and representation are game changers. Also, Jason probably doesn't have the time to implement this, but you should! 🧡✌🏾 P.S. I'm a little biased here as a Northwestern grad, but make sure you follow Jason Wright. He's a legend. Go 'Cats!

Appreciate the kind words, Kasey! Thank you and Go 'Cats 👏🏾

I had the pleasure of going to school with Jason and he is absolutely the real deal - sharp, thoughtful, humble, and hard-working. Only a matter of time before he has 1M followers.

Appreciate the idea of him sharing insights on LinkedIn and Instagram. Would be nice to get a behind-the-scenes look at his journey

Kasey Brown - and he's just a dope Human Being!!!!

Jason was a good guy in college and I'm stoked to see him doing well now. As long as the Commanders aren't playing the Broncos I like to see his team win...

Followed DONT DEFINE who people are.. most business men I know that are successful don’t have a lot of followers..just saying if that’s the bar it could mislead you.
