Actions will speak louder than words in the upcoming months when it comes to showcasing support for underrepresented communities and BIPOC members. Some companies are scaling back on DEI or don't currently have DEI initiatives in place. If you are in a leadership role, you can still promote diverse employee well being/safety regardless of whether DEI is scaled back within your company or remains the same. Here are a few ways in this article by CredibleMind. 👇 #mentalhealthmatters #community #leadership #bipoc #DEI

Hey, Industry leaders, CHROs, MDs, CEOs, DEI professionals and other core corporate leaders. I have a message for you. When I first started my journey in DEI consulting, I made more than a few missteps. It wasn't easy navigating the intricate landscape of diversity, equity, and inclusion. But those challenges taught me invaluable lessons that I now share with organizations like yours. Creating equitable workplaces is not just a goal; it's a continuous journey. With the right tools and knowledge, we can build inclusive teams and foster diversity. Our tailored DEI interventions address bias, microaggressions, and systemic barriers, helping you achieve lasting, positive change. Don't just take my word for it. Here's what Bakul Dhawan from the Ministry of Food Processing Industry had to say: 'Shruti Swaroop Ma’am has helped me and my peers understand Diversity, Inclusion, Biases, Micro-aggression, and the glass ceiling in great depth. Her understanding of the topic and exposure is amazing, and she is sensitive to the nuances and feelings such topics can evoke in people.' My sister posted this on her social media today and it got me thinking that this is relevant in the workplace just as much as it is at home. I want my team-members to feel confident in their strengths and take pride in what they contribute. Their voices matter, and their experiences are valuable. It’s important to understand that we are all flawed, and we deserve grace and understanding. If we stop focusing on what we aren’t, or aren’t yet, we can focus on what we ARE- and our teams, organizations, and communities are better for it. #orgculture #leadership #performance #orgdevelopment #HR #inclusion #womenleaders

🇩🇮🇻🇪🇷🇸🇮🇹🇾. 🇪🇶🇺🇮🇹🇾. 🇮🇳🇨🇱🇺🇸🇮🇴🇳. These are more than buzzwords—they’re essential to the future of every organization. Creating an environment where every individual feels heard and valued requires more than good intentions. Diversity brings in different perspectives and experiences. Equity ensures everyone has access to the same opportunities and resources. And inclusion ensures that diverse voices are not only present but actively contributing. But DEI isn’t a one-time initiative. It requires continuous effort and reflection—at every level of leadership, decision-making, and daily operations. Real progress happens when we are intentional about how we build, support, and sustain these practices. Is your organization ready to move beyond performative diversity? Let’s talk about creating meaningful DEI practices that lead to real change. #DiversityEquityInclusion #InclusiveLeadership #EquityMatters #DEIStrategy #WorkplaceInclusion #LeadershipDevelopment #SayjeConsulting #TransformativeChange

🌴🥥 "You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?" - Kamala Harris This quote from Vice President Kamala Harris really made me smile! She shared it during a swearing-in ceremony for the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, where she emphasized the importance of understanding the needs of not just the younger generation but also their parents, grandparents, and communities. She reminded us that we don’t live in a silo—that our lives are shaped by those who came before us. It’s a powerful reminder that we’re all interconnected, and it got me thinking about how this applies to leadership and business. Here’s what I take from her words: 🌎 Understand the bigger picture: As leaders, it’s crucial to recognize that our decisions impact not just our teams but the wider community. Understanding diverse perspectives can lead to better outcomes for everyone. 📈 Support everyone's growth: It’s not just about individual success; it’s about lifting up those around us. When we consider the needs of our employees and their families, we foster a healthier work environment. 👵🏻 Learn from our histories: Just like Harris highlighted, our past experiences shape who we are today. Reflecting on what has worked (or not) can guide us in making informed decisions moving forward. ♥️ Lead with empathy: Remember that everyone has their own challenges and stories. By practicing empathy, we can create a more supportive and inclusive workplace. What’s your takeaway from the quote? 🌴 🥥 #Leadership #Empathy #Inclusion #KamalaHarris #Community #ledelse
