Was just reading some Ogilvy and got hit with this: “The customer is not a moron, she’s your wife.” Sounds obvious right? But think about how many of us still craft ads or emails that talk at our audience instead of to them. Here’s a quick fix: Start by imagining you’re writing to one person. Literally, ONE. Not a “persona” or a demographic—an actual human. What do they care about? What keeps them up at night? Match your tone to that. Then here’s where it gets fun: Using AI, you can actually personalize your messaging for each lead -crazy, huh?-.
