I saw a conversation on Ebunoluwa page about the necessity of tests and interviews during recruitment (first photo). While I totally see the need for interviews as it is an avenue for both parties to evaluate their fitness for the role/in the company culture, I have often wondered what the tests aim to achieve especially those cognitive ones with complex questions and diagrams. It gives me a headache just seeing them for real 😔. I like what Franklin said in the comments (photo 2) and the kindness shown by her manager is commendable. We should see that more often. Many recruiters need to understand that job seeking and the efforts candidates put to attend interview is one that is tasking; financially, mentally, emotionally etc. It is only human to be a little considerate and ensure your actions do not make it tougher for the candidates. Cheers to HR Professionals who so beautifully give expression to the H factor in the profession 🍷

I would like to tell you about the experience of an interview for a job that I applied to through one of the usual recruitment applications, I went to the interview at the usual time and place, all the procedures were normal, copies of certificates and CV were received and I was told that they are a recruitment company and that there will be another interview with the hospital providing it, And that I am one of the highest candidates for the job. So far, things seem normal until they request to submit a form and pay the fees immediately to the office to continue applying for work and I will obtain the time and place of the other interview, I refused to pay the amount and my inquiries increased about that matter. After leaving the office, I discovered that many of the applicants paid the requested fees, knowing that they came for the purpose of different job titles for multiple institutions. I took the basic papers and left a copy of the CV and went out. The strange thing is that after about four hours, the application status in the application through which I submitted was changed from the shortlist to the status of viewing the application and interview. Have you had such experiences before? What is the appropriate action in this case?

One way is to apply as soon as possible after the job is posted. (We recommend within 1-2 weeks of the job posting date.) This ensures that your resume is reviewed within the first screening round, which significantly increases your chances of landing interviews. 📌But this advice comes with one very important caveat: your healthcare resume must be tailored to the specific role or job function to which you are applying. You want the healthcare hiring team to be able to make direct connections between what they need and your skills, experience, education, and accomplishments immediately upon a brief glance over your resume.
