This week I'd like to introduce you to a quick and effective tapping method for when you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious. It is called "The Butterfly Hug" this technique is a self-soothing method which combines physical touch with mindful breathing, creating a dual sensation that eases feelings of anxiety. It involves rhythmic tapping on your body whilst focusing on your breathe to create a sense of comfort and security. It is particularly useful for people who have panic attacks or to aid children to calm when they become overwhelmed.
