Many firms answer by listing out their capabilities: "brand strategy," creative," ”media," "production,” etc. But your agency is greater than its list of capabilities. Clients hire you for your value… • A “solution” to a problem • A favorable business “outcome” • An "output" that helps them achieve a goal. They need to… “Increase market share.” “Launch a disruptive product.” “Overcome customer retention issues.” “Appeal to a younger audience.” “Establish thought leadership.” “Recover from a PR crisis.” “Expand into new markets.” “Improve digital presence and e-commerce sales.” This is what productizing and pricing your value is about. Selling solutions rather than services. Solutions are about expertise. Services are about billable time. What is your agency selling?
