You know you have found your tribe when you make friendships that support you and people who are always there to uplift you! 2 weeks ago, Stanford Seed hosted its annual conclave in Goa with over 200 entrepreneurs in a single room. This time I had the opportunity to serve our community by helping the elective council. The maiden year where we took a lot of bold steps to further strengthen the thriving Seed community in South Asia. My friend and network president Abhishek Modi led the event, and by closely working with him I learnt the virtues of leading from the front, attention to detail, and the ability to keep and take everyone together, personal lessons for life! Modi ji, Fan! 🫡 A few personal highlights from the event: - Hosting the commencement evening for the incoming ‘6C’ cohort with my friend Rahul Pandey was a different experience, and the highlight was meeting the very famous 2 times Olympian Aparna Popat, OLY! - Also, a great learning session was the inaugural session from Rohit Kapoor (CEO, Swiggy Marketplace) with great stories from Swiggy’s journey. Major lesson - keep your focus on the customer, not judging them but just observing them. ⚡ - The inspiring zeal and strength of Satyarup Siddhanta (Guinness World Record-Holding Mountaineer) & Dr. Rohini Rau (International Sailor). Deeply resonating with what Satyarup said, ‘Fear can either cripple you or Propel you’. 🦸♂️ BTW Satyaprup is going on an exciting mission to the North Pole in March 2025, for those who want their companies at the top of the earth, please do reach out to him, he is a humble gem! 😇 - For those of you who don’t know, at AndPurpose we also run AndPurpose #Grants, Vamsi Udayagiri, founder of Hesa, and a fellow seedling 😊 Uses our platform and was very kind to share his feedback with us, and that truly made my day! 🤩 - Masterclasses outside the classroom, thank you Amit Gupta for bringing us together for the after-classroom session for ’B2B Sales Lessons’ and a room full of expert founders who have scaled their businesses, I left with a notebook full of notes and a heart full of gratitude!
