When used at scale, AI has the potential to accelerate our ability to advance human health. AI allows us to analyze larger-than-ever data sets in ways never before possible to find patterns and trends that are helping transform our innovation engine. Within our Johnson & Johnson MedTech business, we are embracing AI to deliver more personalized healthcare for patients and offer efficiency and precision for clinicians and surgeons to improve outcomes. Yet despite the enormous potential and opportunity to improve patient care, there are significant challenges we must consider when implementing AI, including access to quality data, overregulation and lack of harmonization.
