🚀 Excited to delve into the "NEXT 100" report by Antler, showcasing 100 groundbreaking ideas from India's top investors, operators, and founders on areas of Deep-Tech, D2C, Health etc. A standout for me was the Quantum use case in the Deep Tech section, highlighted by Ranjeet S., focusing on Security and Data Privacy using Quantum technology. India's vast landscape presents unique challenges, providing immense opportunities for businesses and startups to harness Quantum technology across various domains. Areas like last-mile delivery, security, drug discovery, clean energy, simulation, logistics optimization, and finance are ripe for Quantum innovation. Each of these sectors holds potential for new startups or solutions that could significantly reduce expenses for existing companies. It's inspiring to see India advancing in Quantum technology alongside global leaders. The Indian Cabinet's India DST approval of the National Quantum Mission (NQM) with a Rs. 6003.65 crore budget is a monumental step towards propelling India's leadership in this field. This initiative will undoubtedly provide a substantial boost to the ecosystem. I am hopeful that companies, investors will explore these Deep-Tech solutions to drive their growth and contribute to India's burgeoning tech landscape. At Artificial Brain we are already working on some of the use cases. 😉 You can read the Antler report here : https://lnkd.in/gpUk2cwv #QuantumTechnology #DeepTech #Innovation #Startups #India #NQM #Technology #Growth #BusinessOpportunities #Quantum

SoftBank Group Corp. is reportedly in advanced negotiations to acquire Graphcore, a British #AI chip designer that has faced challenges in recent years. Graphcore is known for its innovative chip architecture called the intelligence processing unit (#IPU), which it claims is better suited for AI applications than NVIDIA’s data center #GPUs due to its tailored design for "fine-grained parallelism." 🖥️🧠 Despite securing substantial funding from prominent investors like Sequoia Capital, Microsoft, Dell Technologies, and Samsung Electronics, Graphcore struggled to compete with Nvidia, whose data center GPUs dominated the AI computing landscape and propelled Nvidia to become one of the world’s most valuable companies. 💰📈 SoftBank's interest in acquiring Graphcore coincides with its efforts to raise $100 billion for an AI chip venture aimed at challenging Nvidia's dominance in the field. 🚀💼 #Japan https://lnkd.in/dtBsqpuT
