I'm so proud of this one metric in our company... And it's a special one because it's directly tied to Gemography's most important value proposition: Precision matching. It’s our "Suggested-to-Hired" rate, and it's sitting at 89%. Think about that for a second. 9 out of 10 candidate engineers we recommend to our clients get hired. These are CTOs and VPEs we’re dealing with, some of the most demanding technical leaders out there. They've been burned before. They ask tough questions. They dig deep into our vetting process. And they are very wary of their time being wasted on “filler” candidates. But they are never disappointed (at least 89% of the time😄, the other 11% takes an additional try or two). Reaching and maintaining this matching capability didn’t come from nothing. It was the result of assessing thousands of engineers from the 9 countries we operate in, and developing a playbook that gets us to spot the A-players in each country reliably. Plus, being engineers ourselves meant that we understood what the projects/products are really about, both stack and business objective-wise, and what kind of talent would be most successful in integrating them.
