So I would like to get Opinions...
For the past - going on twenty five years - I have maintained fully attributed Item Data in Food, Beverage, and Beverage Alcohol. (fully attributed equals Nutrition, Ingredients, Allergens, and more)
However, for the past three plus years, and especially the last two, sales of Food and Beverage have fallen off - significantly - while sales of Beverage Alcohol (Beer, Wine, Liquor, etc.) have skyrocketed. I guess the Pandemic turned everyone into Alcoholics.
And, given Rampant Inflation, Rising Food Prices (along with Rising Prices across the board), etc. the concept - for a good percentage of America - of eating Healthy is gone. Price is King. Period.
So, those that relied on my Data for Health and Wellness, do not require Data.
That said, and here is where I would like your opinion - do you think it's worth my time to continue maintaining Food and Beverage Data. Presently I have 350,000 Items - consisting of Packaged and Perishable for Name Brands and Private Label.
But if the need no longer exists, is it worth the effort? And I ask that because - as above - Beverage Alcohol is doing QUITE well.
Thoughts are welcome.
