If anyone asked me which Formula 1 racing event is my favorite, I would vote of the Monaco GP. Monaco GP is quite special for fans. Compared to other races, it carries Industrial, market, cultural and historical significance. The Monte Carlo track has seen some of the biggest wins in history. Graham Hill won five times here which was topped by Aryton Senna, who won six GPs in Monaco! Our favorite Scuderia Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc recently won his home race. The other driver who won in Monaco apart from Charles is Louis Chiron in 1931. This race is one of a kind also because drivers find it difficult to overtake each other. It's almost impossible. So the pole sitter from the qualifying has a good chance of winning the race! Monaco GP is also one of the most star studded race after Miami, Las Vegas and Austin! Both F1 and the local economy share profits, especially from Monaco's tourism industry. But F1 is planning on removing the race from the calendar. Some drivers are welcoming this decision too! If you want to know why Monaco GP shouldn't be scrapped from the F1 calendar, read this article! I have attached the link to the article in the comments section. Hopefully my word reaches the F1 CEO! #F1 #Formula1 #FormulaOne #Ferrari #MonacoGP #MiamiGP #LasVegasGP #AustinGP

📝| After an exhausting triple header Enzo Fittipaldi, Paul Aron, and Isack Hadjar sat down and discussed how the busy weeks affected their performances. As well as the want for more races, bringing F2 closer to F1. 💡| If F2 is supposed to be the step behind F1 should we be testing drivers more rigorously by giving them more races, and how would the series deal with more races being a much smaller operation. ❓| Would you like to see more F2 Races? 📱| Read more about it EverythingF1

Domenicali exclusive - What does F1’s future look like? https://lnkd.in/dpXbwCUm If the 2024 season has taught F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali one key lesson, it is that it is impossible to predict with any certainty how things are going to turn out. While many were talking back in March of Max Verstappen potentially winning all the races this year after his dominant start in Bahrain, it did not turn out that way at all. In fact, with seven different winners from the first half of the season, something that has not happened since that crazy start to 2012, the stage is set for a wide-open battle for victories – and the constructors’ championship at least - after the summer break. Domenicali never joined the doom-mongers at the start of the year, as he was always convinced that the combination of the cost cap and aerodynamic testing restrictions would eventually serve to close things up. Speaking in a wide-ranging interview with Motorsport.com to discuss the state of F1, Domenicali explains why he thinks there is a great opportunity now for grand prix racing to continue riding the wave of popularity that erupted following the Liberty Media takeover. (...) He has always been open-minded about things; aware that what is viewed right today may not be true for tomorrow. So just as Verstappen’s dominance was not set in stone from the off, so too must F1’s longer-term future be viewed as an ever-evolving thing.

BWT Alpine F1 Team heads to Silverstone for Round 12 of the 2024 FIA F1 World Championship, the British Grand Prix with Pirelli C1, C2 and C3 tyres. Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly preview the team’s home race and the final round of an intense European triple header. Esteban says, The British Grand Prix is one of the best weekends of the year for a Formula 1 driver. The atmosphere is electric, and the fans are so knowledgeable and passionate, plus the circuit is super enjoyable to drive! It is a classic circuit with fast and flowing corners, which really test the limit of both car and driver. It is also a home race for the team, so it is a venue you always want to go well at and give staff at Enstone something to cheer about. The characteristics of the track are more similar to what we saw in Spain than in Austria. Weather also plays a part at Silverstone, so let’s see what the British Summer throws up this time! Pierre, Silverstone is one of the best circuits for a driver on the calendar in terms of pure driving sensations. It’s fast, high-speed, a place where the car is at its limit through some of the corners and that is just so much fun at the wheel. The racing is usually exciting as there are a number of places to overtake. I will start my weekend in Free Practice 2 as I hand over driving duties to Jack Doohan for the first session. We are changing power unit elements on my car, which will bring a penalty for the Grand Prix, so this is a logical solution to ensure Jack completes his mandatory rookie outings. Even so, I look forward to seeing the feedback from Free Practice 1 before I get going and, hopefully, we can still have a good weekend performance even with the penalty setback. #alpine #alpineacademy #youngguns #sophia #racegirl #f2 #f3 #monaco #support #race #BritishGP #britishgrandprix #formulaone #formula1 #F1 #FIA #alpinef1team #AlpineF1 #Enstone #enstoneedition #AlpineCars #Alpine #A110S #alpinea110s #Frenchcar #builtbyracers #awesomecar #ordernow #a290

https://lnkd.in/e4Pdm6bG Congratulations to Charles Leclerc and Ferrari for winning the F1 in Monaco. The Championship becomes more interesting, unfortunately the races not. The more equal the race cars the less action we can aspect on the track. The qualification become, in special on street circuits, more important in the whole weekend since overtaking is nearly impossible. Why not make some changes to make it like with DRS more interesting: Why not prohibit a tire change within the first 10 laps of a race? Or, introduce Tracksplit to circuits so overtaking give drivers a little bit more hope during a race. Although it still would be hard in Monaco, at least there is a much bigger opportunity to make an attempt. Now it is boring to watch and for drivers to race.
Time for a logical decision: Time to say goodbye to the Monaco Grand Prix!

https://lnkd.in/eibU3zB5 It was announced on 18th October that the World Motorsports Council of the governing body, the FIA, will drop the Fastest-Lap bonus point from 2025 onwards 😢 The bonus point was introduced in 2019 as an incentive for drivers fighting in the lower position to push more near the end of the Grand Prix 🏎️ Following the events of the Singapore Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo stole the fastest lap from race winner Lando Norris 🥷 But you can't help but wonder if this was something Ricciardo should put on his record or if it was politically motivated to benefit Red Bull and Max Verstappen in the Championship 🏆 What do you think? 🤔 Please find out about what Verstappen needs to achieve his fourth title below! 👇 For all the readers and my connections, please check out my latest post and comment with your thoughts and what sort of Formula 1 content you would like me to cover ✍ Also, explore more content that I post trackside within the World in Sport, it helps my fellow writers on the site, too 🖥 #F1 #Formula1

F1 Wacky Races * McLaren’s Lando Norris took pole position for the 2024 Sao Paulo Grand Prix in a chaotic, crash-strewn qualifying session. The session was punctuated by five red flags for heavy crashes involving, in order, Williams’ Franco Colapinto, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz, both Aston Martin drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso, and Williams’ Alex Albon. Thankfully all the drivers were okay. For anyone believing that driving a modern F1 car is easy… top performers usually make their job look easy (sport or the business world)… the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix Qualifying session demonstrates under certain conditions, competing in a modern F1 is anything but! The problem in such wet conditions is when the car goes, it's very difficult to regain it. The grip levels of modern F1 cars are a sight to behold, thanks to the design and engineering effort, but in the wet, drivers dancing on the edge, can go over that edge in a heartbeat and be flying to the nearest wall! For the Williams and Aston Martin teams, they are already in a race to rebuild both their damaged cars for the main race later this afternoon. *Ex- F1 World Champion Damon Hill’s reference on F1 driver standards 30th October 2024 #F1 #Motorsport #BrazilianGP #AstonMartin #Williams #McLaren #OBR

BWT Alpine F1 Team heads to Circuit of Spa Francorchamps s.a. for Round 14 of the 2024 FIA F1 World Championship, the Belgian Grand Prix. Esteban Ocon: After racing in F1 for a number of years, it is still an incredible feeling to be racing at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps where I made my Formula 1 debut back in 2016. It is a classic track and the longest on the calendar, which makes it a unique test for us drivers with its long straights and variety of corners. The weather always comes into play in Belgium especially considering the size of the track and how conditions can vary from one section of the circuit to another. This means that strategy will be key for the race, and we need to work as one to make the right calls and have a successful weekend. Pierre Gasly: We are aiming for a much better weekend in Spa to see us into the summer shutdown. We went well last year, finishing third in the Sprint, which was an amazing result. It’s a standard weekend format this time around and after the tough previous events, we are incredibly determined to perform the best we can. I love racing this track, it’s one of my favourites, but the feelings I have here are always going to be contrasting. The first half of 2024 has been difficult for everyone, at the factory and at the track, but we’re in a much better place than we were in Bahrain, and we can improve more. Pirelli tyre choice for this weekend are C2, C3 and C4. #Alpine #alpinecars #alpineracing #alpinef1team #f1 #formula1 #raceweek #spa #belgium #spafrancorchamps #iconic #belgiumgp #wolverine #deadpool #ryan #reynolds #marvel #marvelcomics #pirelli
