You can work with a trainer 1 on 1, take walking breaks at work with a coworker, or invite your friends to walk a trail with you in the weekends 2) Add activities to your calendar. Stick to them like would an appointment. Make becoming more active a priority. 3) Set short term AND long term goals. Long term goals are like the end of the finish line of a marathon. If you plan on strength training for the rest of your life, you should be doing squats, deadlifts, presses, pulls etc for the rest of your life. Of course you can do variations of them all and use different equipment, grips, stances etc. But ultimately, the majority of your workouts will revolve around the same core movements And that is normal! Your goal is to get better and stronger with every single one of those core movements so that you can get the best possible results.
