BRNWLD ADHD Founder | Empowering Neurodiverse Leaders & Teams to Drive Creativity | Host of "Born Wild ADHD" Podcast

Yesterday, I had the honour of presenting to an incredible group of coaches from the International Coaching Federation Australasia Chapter on how we can amplify creativity as an ADHD strength. Drawing inspiration from the research into human creativity by Gabriella Rosen Kellerman, MD, and Dr. Martin E.P. Seligman, which identifies four typologies of creative thinking, we delved into an engaging discussion about divergent thinkers, exploring how to harness this creativity to enrich our coaching practices and support our clients more effectively. A personal win from yesterday was that my talk encouraged deep questioning of creative archetypes and challenged even the most resolute “I don’t have a creative bone in my body” thinkers. It helped them connect with a typology and reframe their understanding of what it means to be a brilliant creative thinker. This gives us and our ADHD clients free rein to explore solutions to complex or emotionally challenging problems as a normative process. Creativity and innovation have never been more critical than in today’s fourth industrial revolution. Employers must understand the leadership requirements to harness human creative capabilities by unilaterally adopting neuro-affirming practices to support ADHD and neurodivergent individuals – who are often your greatest innovation assets. By fostering an environment that embraces and nurtures neurodiversity, businesses can unlock unparalleled creativity and drive innovation, leading to remarkable achievements and a thriving workplace culture. A huge thank you to Michele Toner OAM for being our 'SparklyAF North Star'! I'm grateful for the opportunity to share insights and learn from such a dynamic and passionate community of coaches. Together, we're paving the way for more innovative and inclusive ways to help people flourish. 👋🏻 Hi, have we met?
