Recently, a BNY colleague and I discussed over lunch how we can make the greatest impact as leaders. He put it so simply and beautifully that "it comes down to our teams and clients," and I couldn't agree more. As a Fintech leader, I would add that it also comes down to the challenges our innovations solve and the value they create. Reflecting on my recent visit to #Singapore, I heard firsthand about the challenges our clients face and where they see the most significant opportunity for enhanced outcomes. Several themes emerged that are central to our roadmap, including: 1. There is a user in every transaction, and B2B is ultimately B2B2C - start with the end user's point of view. 2. Innovation is appealing but only when it's fit for purpose - every feature and enhancement must solve pain and achieve the desired outcome. 3. Like regional and cultural nuances, data governance and data residency requirements vary by market - global requirements must be a key consideration. 4. Operating model transformation is a catalyst for change, but change is hard - bring people along with change management and education. 5. We're in the ecosystem era where delivering impactful tech is a team sport - scale, speed, and precision depend on the right people and partnerships. When done right, data platforms and AI-powered analytics can solve real challenges while accelerating competitive growth. As one of our clients commented - "You are helping our organization future-proof for scale," - something we couldn't do without our incredible team and clients around the globe. #Data #Innovation #LifeAtBNY
