If you’re celebrating high sales, that’s fantastic! But here's the big question: Are you building value, or just chasing revenue? The truth is, revenue growth alone doesn’t make your business sellable, scalable, or sustainable. Systems, processes, and a skilled team are what increase your business’s value over time, not just the monthly sales. Position for the future. When you create a business that runs smoothly, even without you, you’re building something that potential buyers will pay a premium for . Creating lasting value now means you’re setting up a profitable exit later. Think you’re ready to turn revenue into real value? Let’s chat. Why has "Go To Market (GTM)" started to outshine "sales" as the go-to term for business revenue generation? Because earning revenue is a collective effort. It demands synchronization across the whole organization. It's not merely a task for the "Sales" department. It's about every component of the organization working in sync. When there's a lack of harmony among these components, a business struggles to expand and often fails to turn a profit. As my friend Sangram says, if your business isn't growing, the issue isn't isolated to one department (read his book, highly recommended on the subject matter) You're not just facing a "Sales" issue. You're dealing with a GTM issue. Achieving profitable, efficient, and sustainable growth is possible only when you harmonize all your departmental efforts.

The Org. Chart doesn't tell you everything about power in a firm. Here's what to look for instead. In sales, you should look for Power Nodes, which are where B2B complex purchases are made. Power Nodes is what binds people who give you a 'Yes' with those they trust to make a decision. As you imagine, these collaborators strongly influence the decision. You can identify Formal Power in the Org.Chart and Informal Power in the Power Nodes - in order to succeed, you need both. Unlike power (which changes less rapidly and with a 'shock' (ex. - the 'Head of ...' you're negotiating with is replaced), Power Nodes can change more rapidly because they're influenced by what happens in the company's day-to-day operations. Because of this, you have less visibility and no control over these variables. So keep track of how the Power Nodes shift. You Champion and Partners can help you do this.
