Excited to share that I've just completed a course on Agile New Product Development for Manufacturers! Agile methodologies have become increasingly important in today's fast-paced market, especially for manufacturers facing challenges like shorter product lifecycles, increased customer expectations, and the need for rapid innovation. This course equipped me with valuable insights into how Agile principles can be applied to streamline product development processes, improve collaboration, and deliver products that truly meet customer needs. Looking forward to incorporating these learnings into my work and helping manufacturers navigate the complexities of modern product development. #Agile #ProductDevelopment #Manufacturing #Innovation

💡💡 Three Concepts Behind Agile Agile has transformed the way we manage successful products. Although a relatively new approach, its roots go back more than 70 years. Here are three main concepts from which Agile borrowed: 1. Deming Circle (PDCA) - 1950s: The Deming Circle, also known as the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, emphasizes iterative improvement and learning. Simply put, get feedback, adapt quickly, and continuously enhance processes, products, and services. 2. Toyota Production System (TPS) - 1970s: TPS introduced lean manufacturing and Just-in-Time principles, focusing on efficiency and quality. Simply, reduce all types of waste, improve quality, and maximize value. 3. New Product Development (NPD) - 1980s: NPD highlights the importance of customer feedback and iterative design. Again, simply put, get customer feedback, develop the product incrementally, and meet user needs in the best possible way. Understanding these roots helps us navigate the dynamic business landscape and create value for our customers. #Agile #ContinuousImprovement #Lean #ProjectManagement

what to know about MVP and MMP - Here you go.. In the agile product development landscape, the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) represents the stripped-down version of a product, containing only essential features aimed at gathering user feedback and validating hypotheses swiftly and economically. Conversely, the Minimum Marketable Product (MMP) embodies a more polished iteration with a comprehensive set of features, designed to meet basic customer needs and enter the market competitively. While the MVP focuses on experimentation and learning, the MMP emphasizes delivering tangible value to customers and seizing market opportunities. Both concepts are integral to agile methodologies, enabling iterative development, risk mitigation, and ultimately, the creation of successful products.

🤔 Is Agile Right for Every Team? 🤔 Agile isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. It works best for teams needing flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration—like product development, software, and marketing. But for areas like routine manufacturing or compliance-heavy industries, a more structured approach may be effective. How do you know if Agile is right for you? If your team: 1. Needs frequent feedback and iteration 2.Faces changing requirements or client needs 3.Wants faster time to market If these apply, Agile might be a great fit! Do you think Agile is universally applicable? Let’s discuss! #IsAgileRightForYou #AgileMindset #TeamFlexibility #Adaptability #AgileInBusiness
