Advanced Care Planning empowers patients by ensuring their healthcare wishes are known and respected. It promotes peace of mind, improves quality of care, and supports informed decision-making. By discussing preferences early, patients can avoid unnecessary interventions and receive care aligned with their values, leading to better overall satisfaction and well-being. #acp #endoflifeplanning

starting today, we are implementing "Martha's Rule" in several of our inpatient wards to enhance patient care and safety. This initiative allows patients or their family members to request an additional medical review if they are concerned about a patient's health condition deteriorating and feel that their worries are not being adequately addressed by their care team. This policy is designed to empower patients and their loved ones to have a more active role in healthcare decisions, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns are taken seriously. Studies have shown that patient involvement in healthcare can lead to improved outcomes and increased patient satisfaction. By introducing "Martha's Rule," we aim to create a more responsive and patient-centered healthcare environment.

In the context of healthcare, a care mark for patients could refer to a symbol or designation that indicates a healthcare provider or facility that is known for providing exceptional care and quality services to their patients. This could include factors such as patient satisfaction ratings, quality of care measures, patient safety records, and other indicators of high-quality healthcare. A care mark for patients could help individuals make informed decisions about their healthcare choices and feel confident in the care they receive. It could also serve as a way for healthcare providers to demonstrate their commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in their field.

In our quest to create truly patient-centric hospitals, the key to success lies in supporting our frontline healthcare workers. These dedicated professionals are essential in delivering the compassionate care our patients deserve. However, despite the excellent skills of our physicians and the well-defined care pathways for various diseases, there is often a gap in coordination and follow-up that can disrupt patient care. The feedback I often receive highlights that navigating the healthcare environment remains a challenge. This is not due to a lack of knowledge or expertise but rather a shortfall in the guidance and support services necessary for seamless care coordination. To address this, we must focus on providing our frontline staff with robust support systems. This includes everything from enhanced administrative assistance to advanced training and better communication tools. By strengthening these areas, we can ensure that our care pathways are not just well planned but also well executed, leading to a truly patient-centric environment. Let's prioritize the well-being and support of our healthcare workers to transform patient care. What strategies have you found effective in supporting your frontline staff? #HealthcareLeadership #PatientCentricCare #HealthcareManagement Image: https://lnkd.in/dbX-He5D

Patient feedback #healthcare providers, we strive to offer the best possible care and treatment to our patients. Patient feedback is an essential tool that helps us understand their experiences and improve the quality of our services. Patient feedback can provide valuable insights into various aspects of their experience, such as the appointment booking process, waiting time, interactions with doctors and other medical staff, cleanliness of the healthcare facility, medical care facilities, diagnosis, treatment, patient safety, billing processes, and availability of medicines. At our healthcare center, we value patient feedback and use it to identify areas for improvement, address issues that patients may face, and enhance the overall experience of our patients. We encourage our patients to share their feedback with us to help us serve them better. #PatientFeedback #QualityHealthcare #PatientExperience #HealthcareServices #HealthcareQuality #PatientOpinions #HealthcareFeedback
