Production means....... You can choose the definition that you want but "kurz und bündig": - Your app is used (even if it is just you) - It is relied on by its users. They trust the results of this App. - If it crashes has real-life consequences. Now with ChatGPT, almost everybody can code, BUT very few have the right production-ready mindset. Regardless if you are programming in #Python or #R or #Julia or any other software, we have always focused on SOLUTIONS, and providing a real-life solution requires PRODUCTION READY Applications. Join me in this conversation for the next 7 weeks and you are more than welcome on 19th April for a 3 hours workshop to explore all this concept from our "oldie but always lovely" #R and its super #ShinyApps capabilities through the mindset of #Golem T-51, T-7W (Aprox) for the Golem Workshop with R-Ladies Vienna and Vienna Data Science Group T+0 To start studying PRODUCTION READY architectures and Golem if you love R and Shiny like I do :) #artificialintelligence #productionengineering #productionready #solutionarchitecture #softwaredevelopment #datastrategy #dataanalytics

Artificial intelligence tools have emerged for programmers to write code faster and more accurately. Such services can usually provide the user with the output codes based on the input commands or simultaneously complete the codes written by the developers. Many of them interact with popular editors and development environments like Visual Studio and are able to detect errors, bugs and even security vulnerabilities in certain cases. Below are the best AI tools for developers. Before choosing one It is better to pay attention to its specialized capabilities and facilities. Also, each tool specializes in writing specific language codes; Therefore, before choosing, be sure to consider this issue. 1_(GitHub Copilot) 2_CodeWhisperer 3_ChatGPT 4_CodeT5 5_Codiga 6_OpenAI Codex 7_PolyCoder 8_Tabnine 9_Snyk Code 10_Replit Ghostwriter #AICodeTools #AIProgrammingTools #AIforDevelopers

JetBrains conducted an extensive study on the world of development. Of course, we are interested in the #testing block. Here is a summary of everything that might be useful #fortesters: 👨💻 The most popular programming language for automation – JavaScript/Typescript. 🌐 The most common testing target — web applications. 🖼️ The most popular among test frameworks, tools and technologies — JUnit. 🤖 API tests are automated most often. 💻 The device most used in work — laptop. 🧩 The most frequent types of tests in projects — unit tests. 👩💻 The most popular testing techniques — use case, followed by user case. 🖥️ Development is most often carried out for Windows operating systems. 📱 The most demanded mobile operating system for development — Android. 🤷♂️ Many "boring problems" exist not because no one has the time to solve them, but because the technology does not exist. Before building Unstract, we realized that Large Language Models need not be just used for generative use cases. They have powerful reasoning abilities that can be used to structure unstructured documents, a wide-spread, very boring problem. 🗣️ The beauty about LLMs is that you can "program" them in just plain English or just about any other language they support. No need to learn a go-between "programming" language so one can make computers do what's required of them. This ability makes LLMs lend themselves very well to No-Code platforms. 📑 Introducing Unstract, our open source, no-code LLM Platform that is built from the ground-up to help you leverage LLMs to automate business processes that involve humans in the loop who extract data from long, complex documents. No coding required. 👩💻 We're working with engineering teams that want to move fast and integrate LLMs, creating powerful automation workflows without having to deal with messy, low-level programming with complex, fast-changing libraries, vector DBs and text extraction services. 🔗 Unstract: https://unstract.com/ 🔗 Open source Unstract on Github: https://lnkd.in/gfCsi99n 🔗 LLMWhisperer (our Text Extraction service): https://lnkd.in/gQM8zayc 🎙️ For more, join our Slack community. How one programmer broke the internet by deleting a tiny piece of code 🙈 In 2016, a striking example of the interconnectedness and fragility of our digital infrastructure unfolded when a programmer from Oakland, California, removed a mere 11 lines of code from a widely used library. The incident revolves around a dispute over the use of the package name "kik" on npm, a registry for open-source JavaScript packages. Azer Koçulu, a programmer, had created a package named "kik," which led to a trademark dispute with the messaging app company Kik. npm, siding with Kik due to trademark concerns and potential user confusion, decided to transfer the package name to the company. Koçulu, feeling that this decision betrayed the open-source community's values, requested the removal of all his packages from npm, leading to widespread disruption on the internet. This event underscored the fragile nature of dependency management in software development and sparked discussions about community governance and the balance between open-source principles and commercial interests.
