Personal Post: This year was certainly unique one for me. In this post, I'll share some of the personal, non-business highlights, some positive and some negative. If you are offended by personal content on LinkedIn, this is not a post for you. +My wife and I welcomed our fifth baby that was born. Our baby has been such a blessing to us, really just like our other 4 children are. Born 2 days premature, but healthy and smiley as can be nearly 3 months later! +I've found that spending even 5 minutes 1-on-1 each day with each of my children improves the quality of our days significantly. I used to mistakenly try to go for 30 minutes with each every day, and that just meant the time always ended up getting postponed. The 5 minute quality time means that we can be intentional about it through whatever pocket of times opens up. +Over the years, we've experienced some challenges with one of our kids, and late spring/early summer things were at the worst they had ever been. By God's grace really, things have improved SO drastically, like day and night. I share this point for two reasons: One to openly give God the glory for helping us through some really dark times, but also to highlight that my posts during that time may not have reflected the deep struggles, much like most people's posts on social media don't reflect the many struggles they are facing. +I am very grateful for my wife (and we celebrated our 10-year anniversary this year!). My wife does so much for our family. Homeschooling is not a joke, let alone when you have as many children as we do or more. In addition to this, add making sure that we have the food that we need, that we are social with others, and putting up with my weird crazy schedules and tech habits, and I couldn't be any more thankful/grateful. -This was the year that I've missed my dad the most, 4 years after his death. Perhaps feeling like I have a lot of stuff "going right" in my life, but not being able to talk about it with him, or knowing how much one of my kids who is a goofball would have loved joking with my father. Hope you enjoyed reading through some of these highlights. Professional highlights will come on another post, but I know there are a few of you that care about the "real" stuff that I've shared before, and for that, I am very thankful.

Oh man, that is a really touching post. I hope all these dark times are behind your family and you can all enjoy quality time together.

Congrats on 10 years! +1 on the intentional time. I find that physically scheduling time into my calendar has been a great mechanism to keep me honest. Cheers to a healthy and happy year ahead, Josue A. Bogran!
