Last Monday evening, I managed to join the brilliant APS Intelligence Giant Community group coaching call led by the brilliant John Amaechi OBE, the topic was Inclusive Leadership. John shared this definition of Inclusive Leadership from Marsha Ramroop FRSA FIEDP which really stuck with me and thought it was too good not to share!

National Leadership Day is observed on February 20 each year. The aim of National Leadership Day is to inculcate the values of leadership in each one of us. If we all took up responsibilities and led in our communities, the world would be a much better place. 🤩 A good leader not only leads but inspires those around him to be the best versions of themselves. If you step up during hard times and lend an empathetic ear, you can change someone’s life. Anyone can be a leader you just have to show up and encourage others to do the same. 💪 #pentabell #Leadership #communities

Great insights, Oreoluwa Adeyemi Leadership isn't confined to titles; we all have the power to lead, whether at work or at home. The ability to measure the impact and outcomes of our decisions is crucial—it lays the foundation for our future choices. Let's continue to lead with intention!
This week was a productive one! Graduated from the Mindtrust Leadership Youth Program on Wednesday alongside a couple of talented peers! Over the past 5 weeks, we explored core leadership concepts, from personal style and decision-making frameworks to measuring outcomes and impacts. Each session deepened my understanding of what it takes to lead effectively and make a real difference. A big thank you to Mindtrust Leadership and Matthew Haw for the opportunity to learn from some of the great minds out there! Spot me below 😉

The Lived Experience Leadership workshop was facilitated by Darren Wagner at the 2024 Equally Well Forum. Following a discussion of what Lived Experience Leadership means, how we can navigate bias and stereotypes, and how do we nurture Lived/Living Experience Leadership, workshop participants as a group were asked to put forward their top 3 recommendations. Here they were: 1. LE Leadership is about 'turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones': Everyone must claim their leadership. 2. The power of mentoring. We Need a Accredited National Register of Equally Well Peer Workers supervised and mentored nationally. 3. Nurturing your own leadership space; then collectively. Let us know what you think in the comments!
