Lord, we want to thank you for tuning into the North Main Minute. I'm Joshua Adobe. Lots of attention now that we are beyond the election, lots of attention given to the markets, especially because the day after the election, the equity markets would say mostly across the board, not everything, but mostly across the board had a very, very positive day and there was a lot of euphoria. It's natural that that kind of thing can happen, meaning in a day that's natural. It's not natural to expect that that's the way it's going to be ongoing, by the way, just in case you're wondering. Because I've done this in previous updates when the market goes dramatically negative the day after an election as well. Also not natural. It's not, I mean, I'd love to say up. The markets are gonna go up forever. You know that. You know, that's not possible. It's never happened. It's not going to happen here. So what's a more rational look at where the markets are right now? Well, usually very quickly after the noise of the election season begins to dim a little bit, the markets get focused again, surprise, on things like economic growth. On interest rates, on inflation, on the strength of the consumer. And so I would anticipate pretty quickly that the markets are going to get refocused on that and look at at sectors, at industries and then specific companies then which are going to do well in that kind of environment. I would caution you, because I've heard this a lot here recently, I would caution you against trades, which are just a function of who is sitting in the Oval Office. I know it, you hear it on the television all the time. There are trades. Which are good if if candidate A gets in and bad if candidate A gets in and good if candidate B gets in and bad candidate B gets in. Folks, the Oval Office does not dictate how industries move. They cannot dictate no matter who it is. The Oval Office cannot dictate fiscal policy. Monetary policy can't. Now, are they influential? Yes, of course they are. But that's true no matter who's in the Oval Office. There isn't just though, a unilateral button to be able to move economic policy. At the whim of whoever happens to be sitting at the Kennedy desk there. So you have to be mindful of that as you're thinking about you're planning because it's easy to be reactionary. It's easy to take what's pulsing through our televisions and phones and, and, and to make some kind of very quick decision. It just doesn't work that way. So make sure that you're making your decisions for the right reasons as we're in this post election space, so that you're doing it in a go forward way, understanding economically where we are and what may be most in line with your overall plan.
