I fully understand that everyone out there has a job to do, Whether you own a small business or work for a conglomerate, everyone is trying to survive and be successful. Having said that, PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH. Simply visiting the website of my organization will reveal very quickly that we are a non-profit located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, Upstate NY. So no matter how you present it, no matter what super clever angle you throw at me, I'm not buying your software, not paying for your HR services, not giving you my Payroll jobs, not switching to your onboarding platform. I'm not getting on a 20 minute call so you can go full tilt time share salesman on me. All you're doing is getting yourself deleted and blocked. And if you "Connect" with me and then send me a sales pitch within 30 seconds of me accepting? You're getting reported too. And i guarantee I'm not alone. Have some consideration for people.

As a job developer for a non-profit organization, we previously provided incentives to employers for hiring clients. However, these incentives have now been reduced due to lack of funding. Consequently, there has been a decline in employers’ interest in hiring the candidates we recommend, as the incentives are less compelling. This raises questions about how effectively we're supporting the community. Many of these clients possess strong educational backgrounds and valuable experience, yet they struggle to secure opportunities to enter the workforce. #community #londonontario #employment #workforce

You know how it goes—there’s always something to navigate in the nonprofit world, right? 🤔 So, I’m curious about the process of requiring clearances before new hires officially start their jobs. In my previous nonprofit gig, we asked candidates to handle their clearances before day one, but we adjusted it to guide them through the process during an orientation on their first day. This worked well since our training period was long enough to cover any delays in getting those clearances back. 📄✅ Now, at my current organization, I’ve noticed a growing trend: no one seems to bat an eye at asking candidates to take care of these clearances beforehand. But, since my team has expanded dramatically—from just 5 people to 60—I’m really the first dedicated HR presence we’ve had.
