What i feel like saying is, for any enterprise transformation to bear fruit, top-down buy-in is very crucial for success. What do i mean!! Business transformation requires more than just a strategic plan..., it demands unwavering commitment from top management. Without top management genuine buy-in, transformation efforts are doomed to fail. Trust me, this isn't just theoretical, it's a hard-learned lessons I gained over the years as practitioners who have gone through quite a few transformation Journey, especially with SMEs. In all those past works and Journey with numerous organizations, I've the privilege witnessing firsthand the impact of top management's commitment or lack thereof, on transformation initiatives. One CEO, who led a successful transformation of a Singapore-based SME manufacturing firm, emphasized the importance of "walking the talk" and demonstrating visible commitment to the transformation vision. Another executive, who struggled to transform it's business, attributed the failure of the transformation to the lack of genuine buy-in from the top leadership. So, top management buy-in is very crucial. i also think the top few key criteria for top management buy-in include: 1. Clear understanding of the transformation goals, 2. Willingness to challenge existing norms, 3. Commitment to invest necessary resources, and 4. Ability to communicate the vision effectively. Anything less, and #transformation efforts will falter. Agreed ?

Agree - must also be complemented by culture & change management followed by skills development and redeployment. :) one key way I have observed is for selected personnel (senior, mid, junior) to identify and select use cases. This usually leads to far greater buy-in!
