So here is a chat from some very knowledgable people that seem to be pro-Ukrainian, but understand in how much trouble Ukraine is. One thing that they have learned to realize is that the Russians are actually pretty good at fighting wars, both media wars and military wars. The Russians turn out to be excellent at disinformation, media propaganda, and political destablization. Which is why it was so *STUPID* for the US to try to destabilize Russia in the first place and why the US effort to push Euromaidan movement was has so much blowback. If you look at the agreements between the BRICS nations, China, Russia, and India, one basic agreement is "non-interference". You don't mess with our government, we don't mess with yours. So China is not going to overthrow Putin, and Russia is not going to overthrow Xi. The thing about the US is that once it starts trying to overthrow the Russia government or nearby governments (Ukraine) in ways that mess up Russian security interests, Russia will fight back, and they are kind of good at this thing. https://lnkd.in/gzCbRRTA

What American election mean for Central Europe? Choice of Kamala Harris means robust support for Ukraine and commitment to strong transatlantic relations. A support of moderate republicans can translate into a more determined posture vis-a-vis #Russia Choice of Donald Trump means the end of military aid for Ukraine and pushing #Kyiv towards a dishonourable peace. #Transatlantic relations would be in crises and populists in #CentralEurope would gain ground. VoxUkraine factchecked #TuckerCarlson and #Putin. https://lnkd.in/g_VZEPyk Carlson is a part of network of pro-Russian experts who help Russia to spread its narratives in different ways. You may also find information about the network of these experts here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gyjw9Ppq And I will voice another problem‼️ As the US presidential election approaches, an increasing number of individuals who shape public opinion are participating in Russian influence operations. The goal is to present American voters with the #Kremlin's vision of the world order, portraying #Russia as a victim of Washington's policies. The Russians appear to be fully committed, utilizing all available opportunities to influence the US elections, which, according to Putin, could mark a turning point in the course of the war and geopolitics as a whole. Be cautious and avoid falling for #propaganda. #US #RussianPropaganda #TuckerPutinInterview

🇺🇸🇺🇦 What Trump's victory means for the war in Ukraine? 🔎 Oleksandr Kraiev, director of the "North America" program, in a commentary for the Irish media RTE talks about the consequences of Donald Trump's victory in the US elections for Ukraine, in particular in the context of the war with Russia. ➡️ In particular, Oeksandr Kraev notes that US policy under Trump can be risky, but not necessarily in a negative context. Chinese influence in the Solomon Islands is a great example of China's foreign policy. Chinese investments into a country cause said country to become reliant on these investments, giving China a great deal of influence in the domestic and foreign policies of these countries. This can only be matched by incentivizing these countries to break the chain of Chinese influence, by offering partnerships with the U.S. and its network that offer better return on investments. #China #ForeignPolicy #Military #GPC #NPC

#RussianElection Davankov has every chance to come second. He is the only candidate who stuck to the pro-negotiations rhetoric on Ukraine (instead talking about a military victory) and spoke more about development than patriotism. He was backed by barred liberal candidate Duntsova and a number of other liberal figures, many of whom encouraged to vote for anyone but Putin but hinted on Davankov. Therefore, Davankov will get most of the liberal vote, a significant portion of the anti-war vote. Fewer people will vote for not-quite-socialist Kharitonov and not-quite-Zhirinovsky Slutskiy. Putin will get the pro-Putin vote. Davankov will get the anti-Putin vote. No one will get the leftist (communist, socialist, etc.) vote because Russia's Left will vote against all four candidates (crossing them out on the ballot). Kharitonov & Slutskiy will get whatever is left - the votes of their parties' loyalists. Provided that the violations are minimal, Davankov will come second.
