I'm thrilled to announce the publication of my second article, titled "Testing a Vision-Based Autonomous Drone Navigation Model in a Forest Environment," in Algorithms, now available online! This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the dedicated collaboration of my esteemed co-authors and the unwavering support from individuals who believed in our research from its inception. First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my co-authors: Suet-Peng Yong, Witold Pedrycz, and Junzo Watada. Their expertise, dedication, and collaborative spirit were indispensable throughout the entire journey of this research endeavor. In particular, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Junzo Watada for his endless support from the very beginning to the final stages, motivating us to persist and pursue the publication of our work. This publication represents the culmination of a project initiated during my master's studies at University Technology PETRONAS. Despite facing numerous hurdles and setbacks along the way, including unexpected delays, we remained steadfast in our commitment to delivering a comprehensive and impactful contribution to the field. Wow, how time flies! Scrolling through my phone, I stumbled upon this gem of a photo and couldn't resist pulling Masaaki Tokuda and Senelus Sendy to recreate it. Back then, Saki and I were fresh-faced recruits at Language Talent Solutions Sdn Bhd, diving headfirst into the world of Japanese and Korean recruitment, under the guidance of Senny. I don’t usually post personal pictures, but this one is for the memories. It’s incredible to reflect on how much we’ve grown—not just professionally, but personally as well. Here in Korea, we're currently enjoying a long Chuseok holiday. Thanks to the long break, I've had the pleasure of spending quality time with my son. Today, during our English practice, my son dropped the unexpected question. "Why do we say get on the train, when we say get in the car?" Despite leading a global brand e-commerce team, being "fluent enough" in both verbal and writing, I could not give a clear explanation to my son. So I would beg for your help, my English-speaking network. What's the difference? How would you explain this question to 6-years-old kid? Please share your insights and knowledge.
