So this happened today ... I was interacting with a senior professional in my network and during conversation I realize that I have accomplished over a decade in Salesforce Ecosystem... Here I am ..🎉 Excited to share a milestone: 11 years in the dynamic world of Salesforce! 🚀 It's been an incredible journey of growth, learning, and collaboration within this vibrant ecosystem. Through it all, I've learned some crucial lessons: 1. It's impossible to know everything, and that's okay. Embracing the fact that there's always more to learn has been key to staying humble and hungry for knowledge. 2. Learning to accept and be honest about my limitations has been liberating. It's allowed me to focus on my strengths while seeking support where needed, fostering a culture of transparency and growth. 3. Onboarding teammates who can fill the gap has been instrumental in driving success. Recognizing that everyone brings unique skills and perspectives to the table has enriched our team dynamics and propelled us forward. As a triple star ranger and 11X Salesforce certified professional, the journey has been incredibly fulfilling, marked by milestones that reflect dedication and passion. My belief is that by extracting 1% of value from every conversation, meeting, and training session, I am continuously improving not only as a business professional but also as a person. This principle has served as my compass, and it’s proving to be incredibly powerful in my journey with Salesforce. Joining Salesforce and working in the Health and Life Sciences sector has been a transformative experience. These first three months have been some of the most enlightening and challenging times of my life. I've been pushed to new heights and faced moments of imposter syndrome, yet each day I wake up excited and energized to connect with customers and explore 'the art of the possible' together. The journey has not been without its difficulties, but the support and culture at Salesforce have made all the difference. The emphasis here is not on demanding perfection but on insisting on continuous improvement, which resonates deeply with my personal philosophy. Every interaction and every project has been a stepping stone towards a higher level of performance and understanding. It’s about incremental gains that compound over time, leading to significant growth and development. This mindset is helping me evolve in ways I never imagined. 𝑻𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒔 𝒎𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆-𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒚 🎉 One year with Salesforce! After an initial two-month training period, I transitioned to the floor, where I have spent the past 10 months diving into real challenges. The growth I have experienced both professionally and personally has been beyond rewarding. Every day here is like opening a new chapter, with new topics to learn, and fresh challenges to overcome. I am glad to see my technical skills expand in ways I could not have imagined! Some of my favourite moments are those little "Aha!" moments when I crack a tricky issue or find a solution that really makes a difference for a client. Of course, not every client request is a breeze! 😅 But even those tough interactions are where the real growth happens. They teach me patience, better communication, and how to put myself in someone else's shoes. Since starting, I have become an All-Star Ranger on Trailhead and earned seven Salesforce certifications, which feels like such a big accomplishment. But more than the badges or certification, it's been about gaining confidence and learning from every experience. I can't wait to see what the next year will bring and how much more there is to discover! I want to give a huge thank you to my amazing team, leads, and managers. Funny story from my onboarding: They mentioned we'd get a surfboard on our 3rd Year Anniversary. Naturally, I started asking the proctor all the important questions: "Is it a shortboard or a longboard? Can we choose if it's a soft-top or not?" The proctor was answering all my questions until we both realized we were talking about two different things. Turns out, it's a desktop trophy in the shape of a surfboard! For the record, it's a shortboard for 3 years and a longboard at 5. 🏄♂️

I started my Salesforce Journey 10 years ago. I wish I had received these 3 pieces of advice earlier. Here they are: Advice #1: Always Start With The 'Why' It is easy to think that technology is king. That's ego. Why? Because you have left out the most important piece of the puzzle —the people you're building it for and their 'Why'. Advice #2: Don't Fall Into The Certification Trap It is easy to be overwhelmed when your LinkedIn feed is filled with certification success stories and profiles boasting a gazillion certifications. Follow your curiosity. Don't follow the herd. Advice #3: Context Is Everything No solution is "good" or "bad" in and of itself. Context is everything. A solution that fits in Context A may fail miserably in Context B. Understand the context and then find a solution that fits. If the context changes, your solution should change as well.
