I Guide Medtech and Healthtech Founders in Building and Scaling Solutions by Combining 30+ Years of Clinical Practice, Executive Leadership, and Military Precision. Former CEO & White House | Board Member | Veteran

As St. Patrick's Day arrives and we adorn ourselves in shades of green, I'm reminded of the phrase "the luck of the Irish." But is it really “luck” in the business realm? Is success a mere roll of the dice, or does it boil down to impeccable timing many times? In the dynamic world of Medtech and Healthtech, timing is not just a factor – it can be the linchpin of success, or the difference between success and failure. Consider this: a revolutionary product launched prematurely can falter, while the same product introduced at the opportune moment, or right time, can skyrocket. Why? It's about understanding the market, recognizing the need, and acting urgently when the time is ripe. So, as we celebrate with our green attire and perhaps green beer tomorrow, let's also toast the strategic timing that propels our professional endeavors forward. Happy St. Patrick's Day! #HealthcareOnLinkedIn #HealthcareInnovation #MedTech #HealthTech #StPatricksDay

Jon Belsher, MD raises an important point about the role of timing in achieving success. It’s not just about being in the right place at the right time but also about being flexible and responsive to the market's evolving needs. This approach essentially means creating our own luck by being prepared to adapt when opportunities arise. Recognizing and acting on this can indeed be the difference between a failed product launch and a skyrocketing success.
