We are pleased to announce that Revs Institute was named Museum of the Year at the 2024 International Historic Motoring Awards (IHMA)! Now in its 14th year, the IHMA celebrates the elite of the collector car world. After months of nominations, shortlisting and intensive judging, the winners were announced in an evening ceremony at the Peninsula London on November 22. In attendance on behalf of Revs Institute were Miles C. Collier, Founder, and Scott George, Curator of Collections, along with Revs new Chief Executive, Jonathan Witmer. The shortlist for Museum of the Year included such prestigious institutions as Autoworld Brussels, the Petersen Automotive Museum, and the Silverstone Museum. To be listed alongside such nominees was itself an honor. We thank the many staff members and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to create an award-winning museum. The IHMA pointed to the innovative Active Matter Lab and the forthcoming Archives and Research Center as initiatives that set Revs Institute apart! I would have been in the picture but I was too busy doing laps around the gala high fiving everyone I could find - including Richard Hammond! It’s an honor to work with great people and do such important work - please visit us soon and you’ll see why we are number one in the world!
Congrats!
