I know there are more important things going on this morning but here is one more reason why law students and junior lawyers should be on LinkedIn and how they can use it. 🌎Career Path Mapping 💼 Finding your career path is often just as much about knowing the realm of the possible as it is getting a particular job out of the gate. And when in history could anyone, anywhere learn about possible trajectories of almost anyone in an instant? This is not to say that your path will be the same as anyone else—it almost certainly won’t. But spending time learning lessons from these career paths—the variety, the risks, the failures, and the successes—can help create a clearer vision about what is possible and the many paths to get there. So even if you don’t open an account (you should) or post (you can) there is still value in learning from those who came before. It’s always easier to reach your destination if you know the different ways others got there.
Such an insightful take on the value of learning from others' journeys. 🌟 Jonah Perlin
That's a good point Jonah Perlin. I'm grateful for the LinkedIn interactions that've shaped my career path. It's given me a new appreciation for those tackling the areas of law I don't enjoy and insight in the areas I do enjoy. Keep up the good work!
Great and practical advice

4moAbsolutely agree Jonah Perlin! Learning from the experiences of others is priceless in shaping our own career paths. The stories of those who came before us can offer critical insights and inspiration. Each career journey is unique, but understanding the possibilities helps us navigate our own paths more effectively and create interesting and rich experiences. It's a powerful reminder that even if our paths differ, there is always something to learn from the course of others.
