Doing law-related things

At last, an honest-to-goodness business post from me. Someone told me that's a possible use for this platform 🤷♂️ 🤯 I am happy to say that we at Juralio have entered into a commercial partnership arrangement with Eric Eck's company, GUIRBADEN, to help make Juralio better known and more widely adopted in continental European law firms and legal departments. Some years back, I met Eric and was impressed by him personally and by his sophisticated knowledge of the legal services world in continental Europe, its issues and challenges, including the process, software and data aspects. Eric's been working at a couple of very large companies in recent years, but also had substantial experience in a number of law-meets-tech-and-data fields before that. When he recently ventured out to do his own thing again, we both expressed interest in the idea of working together. We spoke quite a bit about it, Eric came over to Dundee and met other members of the team here. Thankfully it was sunny that day! It's clear that we share a certain philosophy about the process and budgeting of legal work - that these things can be approached, to the benefit of both law firm and client, in a more genuinely collaborative, transparent way. In ways that put more weight on better planning, budgeting, communication and learning from experience, rather than just maximising or defending one's own position. And in ways that join up the objectives, work and financial aspects. If you've been deeply involved in the current realities of legal work you'll know the kinds of pain that I'm implicitly referring to here. So. We've entered into an agreement for Guirbaden which helps us expand familiarity with, and adoption of, Juralio in continental Europe. I believe that Eric's personal attributes, great experience, presence and knowledge of relevant markets make him an ideal partner there for us. This isn't exclusive on either side but I'm confident we each bring something special and can do great things together! Our proposition is relevant to both law firms and legal departments. Further details are at the link. As Eric says there: "This partnership with Juralio gives us a strategic opportunity to apply our professional services expertise in a way that helps customers and Juralio alike. Guirbaden’s vision is to digitise the entire legal ecosystem. With Juralio, we are at the heart of the collaborative experience the business law world needs to operate at its best - fair and non-aggressive sale and purchase of legal services is the way, and Juralio can contribute significantly to this. Law is not a zero-sum game. We are excited to be working together at last.” https://lnkd.in/eiF4GmNz

Thank you Graeme J. for your king words. As we love "ecosystems" at GUIRBADEN, this is the way to go! There is so much value we'll bring to in-house legal teams and their law firms for shared benefits with Juralio.
