All the real estate agents out there can probably understand how frustrating it is to take precious time out of your day and show buyers properties to have them become unresponsive when you seek feedback. Not often but it happens right? Then you get other agents who apparently are interested buyers and you take the time to show them what properties you have and after numerous texts, voicemails, emails and other social media messages you have zero response! I ask why? Why can’t you just message back with thanks but not interested, changed my mind. Whatever! Just respond. I find it disrespectful, rude and uncalled for. Thoughts on this please.

Who said that? Ghosting is a big problem in estate agency where people viewing property to buy never return calls or emails from the estate agents that showed them the property just trying to get feedback for their client. The one thing I would say to people who do this is that you may potentially need that Estate Agent in the future if there is another property you’re looking to buy and if you’ve ghosted them in the past they may not be that inclined to show you the property as most estate agents will make notes on their system about who ghosts them and who responds with feedback. Just something to think about when you’re on a viewing. Have a great great day Mark
