Founder of Chiltern Rangers helping businesses and communities maximise their social and environmental impact.

There are so many ways organisations like PWC and their supply chains can help nature. A great way is to support and invest with organisations like Chiltern Rangers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), The Woodland Trust and others to take action in their local areas. Working locally reduces travel and creates a better, more connected landscape. Not only can positive activity sessions like Be a Ranger days help directly e.g. tree planting, river cleans or coppicing in the woods; these days are great for teambuilding, health and well being, giving back to the community and much more. Director at PwC

Great to hear that our suppliers were keen to engage on Nature. Also good to see in 2024 the first Insurers and Asset Managers are starting to gear up their thinking and disclosures on Nature as another existential topic alongside Climate. 🌿 PwC UK welcomed over 100 of its suppliers together at the recent 2024 Supplier Sustainability Forum to discuss the critical role of business in tackling the accelerating nature crisis. Creating meaningful supplier engagement is core to delivering upon corporate sustainability commitments, and a vital part of the journey to achieving a net zero and sustainable future. Alongside PwC sustainability experts, guest speakers from Salesforce and WSH delved into the organisational risks faced from nature loss, how you can assess your relationship with nature, and tangible actions that organisations can take across their operations and supply chains.
