As I stand at the cusp of a new chapter, I want to take a moment to reflect on my journey as the Head of Customer Success and warmly embrace my upcoming role as AVP, Strategic Accounts. Wow, what a ride it's been in my last role. It pushed me to my limits, taught me to bounce back, and really hammered home how crucial it is to keep relationships at the forefront of everything. Every chat, every bit of feedback, and every planning session really deepened my grasp on putting our customers first. I've picked up a ton of insights along the way, but the biggies would have to be the magic of really listening, getting creative with solutions, and always leading with a bit of kindness. These lessons have been gold, touching both my work and personal life. Now, stepping into the new shoes, I'm bringing all those lessons with me, plus a whole lot of buzz for what's coming. This new spot is all about getting even closer to what our clients need, coming up with innovative ideas, and pushing growth through solid partnerships. I'm all in and can't wait to use what I've learned to really make a splash. I've got to shout out to my team and work pals - Chirag Damani, Nancy Suryavanshi, Sohum Tanksali, Shikha Sheel Madaan, Allen Brown, BVM Anirudh, my superstar CSMs. Your support, and team spirit have been everything. The wins we've racked up in Customer Success didn't just boost our company; they've set me up to jump into this new challenge with all guns blazing. As I step into this new role, that old saying rings true - the only constant is change. This shift is a mix of sweet and sour, but it's all about moving forward and soaking up new lessons. I'm diving into this with all the energy and dedication I've always had, pumped for the new roads we'll travel and the peaks we'll conquer together. I heard something the other day and before today I would never have given it a second though. The question was asked, “what is the worste thing you ever did.” The response shook me. “I became important. I did such a good quality job that I became important.” All my career to date all I wanted was to make a difference. Do such a good job that the company would appreciate and when it came time for promotion etc it would be without question. To instill the trust that I can get the job done. To me this was the conerstone of who I was. Work with everyone, help everyone, see everyone as your customer and remember the customer is always right. Then it happened. I was seen. I became trusted and now important to what I do and some days I don’t know what to do with that. Some days I sit here thinking how do I do it now. How do I get this done on time and under budget. Trust in my colleagues, trust my team. That is how you do it. Ask the hard question. Talk to them, be clear on your needs and timelines and then trust them to do what they do

What is a 1-hour meeting, once a week, worth to YOU? In many sales roles, we have the typical weekly cadence of team meetings, trainings, program overviews, and 1-on-1s with managers/ leadership etc. While these can be valuable, I recently had an interesting realization. Our team uses ActionDIARYs, a daily planning and tracking tool. I’ve been using mine for the last few months and have nearly 9 months’ worth of data saved up. I haven’t been perfect—some weeks I didn’t track as well, missed a day here or there, or planned but didn’t complete anything. But what I have is DATA. I started looking for trends and realized I gained a FULL WORK WEEK BACK THIS YEAR! A few months ago, I dropped a weekly meeting with other salespeople from my industry. It was early morning on a Friday, and I felt I wasn’t getting value from it anymore. Instead, I now spend that time prospecting. Looking over the year ahead, that 1 hour and 15-minute weekly meeting gives me back over 50 HOURS of time. That’s 50 more hours I can spend on sales, business development, or other tasks to move the business forward. So, what’s a 1-hour weekly meeting worth to you?

🌟 Embracing Challenges: Finding Inspiration in Florence Chadwick's Journey In our roles as customer success leaders, we often encounter moments where our customers face daunting challenges and feel tempted to give up on their projects, potentially even the software solutions we've provided them. It's during these times that we must remember the story of Florence Chadwick and find parallels between her journey and ours. Florence Chadwick, the trailblazing swimmer who conquered the English Channel both ways, embarked on another historic feat: to swim the Catalina Channel, a grueling 26-mile stretch from Catalina Island to the California coast. Despite the bone-chilling cold and thick fog that obscured her vision, she plunged into the icy water with unwavering determination. For fifteen hours, Florence relentlessly pushed forward, with only her mother and vigilant riflemen by her side, ready to fend off any lurking danger. Yet, despite her incredible stamina and unparalleled drive, Florence eventually succumbed to the overwhelming challenges. She was quoted as saying “Look, I’m not excusing myself. But if I could have seen land, I know I could have made it.” It was only when the fog lifted that Florence realized the heartbreaking truth: she was less than half a mile away from reaching the California shore. In our customer success roles, we need to give customers glimpses of land. Just hit 100% quarterly quota in my first quarter as an Account Manager! Super proud of this accomplishment and wanted to thank Lisa Williams and the team for the ramping me up and being there for me, even when I ask a million questions 😅 3 key things I learned from this quarter: 1- Persistence is key. This is not to push the sale but to continue to push the value and let the customer know this is the exact support and confidence they will receive as a continuing customer. 2- Focus on the "How" they will use the product features rather than the "Why you need it" aspect. I learned this from a very intelligent sales engineer- painting the picture for the customer and showing how THEY specifically could apply these features to their day to day will be what makes you different from other sales people. 3- Be a sponge. No matter how much success we get or knowledge we think we have- it is always a blessing to get advice / feedback from leadership and teammates. There is always room for improvement and I truly believe everyone has a gift. I am always ready to learn new things. With that being said, I will continue to work hard and improve. Not all 5 ⭐️ reviews are what they seem… Behind this glowing feedback was a job that didn’t go to plan! We took on a large Stairs and Landing project, but things quickly went wrong. The customer wasn’t happy with the fit, and to top it off, the carpet delivered had the wrong backing – felt instead of hessian, which they had ordered. Faced with an unhappy customer, I had a choice: do nothing and risk losing them or make it right, even though it would cost us. So, we replaced the entire carpet at our expense and dedicated a full day of our fitter’s time to get it done. Yes, it was costly upfront, but here’s the thing – if we hadn’t done it, we’d have lost more than money. We’d have lost trust, future business, and recommendations. In the end, it’s about the long game – keeping customers happy and showing what we stand for when things don’t go perfectly. Because the real test of a company isn’t when everything goes smoothly, it’s how we respond when it doesn’t 👊🏼
