Get More Clients on LinkedIn w/out a massive following (or pitch slapping)
1dI have a million things I could say, but I think I’m already on LI’s most wanted list John. Well anyways… Rational explanation… LI user growth has all but stopped. Time on platform per session is the worst of all socials. MBOs an corporate are shifted to solve this problem. Largest group of LI users are now age 25-35. They consume video at a rabid pace. Thought process… let’s just steal attention from other socials. (If they watch it the advertisers will follow). Choke the feed of posts that aren’t video. Creators get the message and create (copy) videos. This increases time on platform (TOP). Everyone gets their bonus for meeting the TOP metric. Creators get empty likes and followers. The ones with resources pay to boost their content. Vanity prevails! LI revenue increases. Meanwhile someone with 3k followers is quietly building a substantial lifestyle business bucking the trends and doing the exact opposite.
