A double dish post to close out the year! One thing that caught my eye in the job market recruiting world and one dish my family made recently: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗵: Payscale released their 2024 comp analysis last week and had a couple of interesting things in it. Overall wage growth data we've seen is roughly 3.5% for next year. These are two standouts from Payscales data that I caught: 1. The Content Strategist role has seen wages grow by 16% year-over-year, which may reflect the importance of content marketing as companies look to leverage generative AI and optimize SEO. It's interesting that we've seen more Marketing Communications roles in the past couple of months but not as many Content Strategy roles. This was surprising to us. 2. Also, the Business Operations Manager, a role that spans finance, operations, and strategic planning, has experienced a 14% wage increase. This might reflect the growing demand for leaders who can wear multiple hats that we've been seeing in client needs. The blog post has a ton more interesting info if you'd like to dive in more. I posted it in the comments. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗵: We got to cook a family-favorite pizza with leftover pulled pork! It is sort of a Bahn mi with peanut oil and a kimchi yogurt sauce. My daughter tried it and thought it was ok, so big win. Does anyone have any dishes they are excited to make over the holidays?
That pizza looks SO good! Awesome info here too!
Thank you for sharing these insights from our report! 💙 The wage growth for roles like Content Strategist and Business Operations Manager reflects some exciting trends in the evolving job market. Also, your pizza sounds amazing! Kimchi yogurt sauce is such a creative touch. 🤌
