Conversion in the SaaS space comes down to having a great product. A product that is easy to use, solves a hard problem, and is not full of bugs. Have you ever tried an app that crashes immediately after installation? Then you know what I’m talking about. Ensuring stable uptime and handling traffic spikes gracefully requires a firm understanding of user behaviour, which directly correlates with: ↳How your traffic profile is shaped ↳ How your application needs to scale to react to changes in that traffic profile There are three major considerations when building for reliability: ↳ Stability ↳ Efficiency ↳ Adaptability. In a new Platformatic blog series, we’ll take a look at each of these considerations, starting with stability: https://hubs.ly/Q02XlWGt0

Do you have SLOs? Do they include telemetry logged from mobile devices? And do they only include aggregate metrics to judge the health of your system? If your answer is YES to all three, I wrote an article (with heavy editing from Colin Contreary) about why you might have some important gaps in your assessment. And if you have SLOs for workflows that include mobile and web clients but don't use client telemetry as part of them, you should probably start 😅

Climate publisher The Cool Down change their newsletter Call to Actions in Apple News depending on the article type. Articles in the technology category have a CTA which drives towards a weekly newsletter where the value proposition is “cool tech” to “stay on the cutting edge of a cleaner, cooler future”. If the article is in the home category, the CTA drives towards a weekly newsletter to get the “best hacks” which “make it easy to help yourself”. Relevant CTAs convert better, but manually adding these CTAs in a platform like Apple News can be a time consuming process for your technical team. At FlatPlan we help publishers automate this entire process and free up time for their tech team to work on other projects. If your team wants to implement CTAs like this to drive higher conversion, I would love to chat!

It’s frustrating when technology leads you astray. We heard from many frustrated users, one of whom noted, "Google Maps has the postcode at a different road over a mile away." Don’t let inaccurate maps lead you or your visitors down the wrong path. PostTag’s precise location technology corrects these errors, guiding everyone to the correct address without the detour. Visit www.posttag.com today for precision in every location search. 📍 #AccurateLocation #PostTag #MappingMistakes
