Day 31 - #PostTillTheEndOfTheYear It's a Friday again! How time flies right? 😅 This week was amazing tho, would you agree to that? However, as the week is ending, let's remember to give ourselves the needed rest, the pat on the back, and a little time off to freshen up! 😉 Think about everything you said you were going to do this week, congratulate yourself for doing the ones you could, make a strategy on how you'd do the ones you couldn't do ahead of next week, and ensure to commit to it. I've been engaged with various hackathons that I forget to tell you guys how good of a Data Scientist I'm becoming! 😅 This week tho, I focused mostly on Data Analysis. What kind of Data Scientist would I be if I knew nothing about data analytics 😅 . I took a few training sessions and they were really helpful, they even helped me become a better data scientist. I was able to learn how to clean and standardize datasets and also visualize them all from the Microsoft Excel workspace. It's amazing. I look forward to completing my Data analytics course, however, so I can continue to advance my knowledge of Machine Learning. I also look forward to adding SQL to my skill set this coming week! 😅 I've been really curious about it, and I just can't wait to get into it. Since I started my journey, I've realized a few things that people eventually grow to regret. I thank my God for my earliness in this workspace. I'd share them with you, however, so you don't grow to regret certain things if you're already walking in the path. 📌 BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, no matter what stage you’re at. Confidence fuels growth, and the earlier you start nurturing it, the better. 📌 Someone asked me today what I would say if someone called me ugly😂. I said, "I'd be curious, why would you think a fine man like me is ugly😂." The point is to embrace feedback like it’s an instruction manual, it’s not a criticism but a roadmap for improvement. Don't just go thinking you're always right, ALWAYS GET CURIOUS!! 📌 NETWORK, but do it genuinely. Seek quality connections, not just quantity, because meaningful relationships carry weight in the long run. This cannot be over-emphasized and I won't. 📌 Protect your work-life balance. I am guilty of this one, when I need to catch up with a deadline, I overwork myself literally. The thing is, burnout doesn’t care how much you’re achieving; it’ll catch up if you don’t prioritize your well-being😪. I've been watching these things in my day-to-day activities. However, I always ensure to tick something off my box each time I find the opportunity to interact with people. Certain people just leave me curious, and the curiosity motivates me to do better. You also can start putting these things into notice! Have a nice weekend. Here's a little document to keep yourself refreshed with knowledge throughout the weekend. #DataScience #DataScientist #DataAnalyst #DataAnalytics #LearningNeverStops #PostTillTheEndOfTheYear

Chrome team is on a roll! Check out this new tool for quickly visualize your Core Web Vitals, based on CrUX data. Way to go Chrome Team, and Jamison the intern :)
We’re pleased to launch CrUX Vis - a new experimental CrUX tool to allow you to visualize CrUX History API data: https://lnkd.in/eZf9bZAt This experiment was first put together by Jamison O'Keefe, our 2024 summer intern. The CrUX History API was released over a year ago and we’ve seen a number of great third-party apps spring up to visualize this data. We thought it was time we offered a way to show this data too. For more info on the CrUX History API see this guide: https://lnkd.in/e_wjaC-u Before the CrUX History API, the only way to view the historical data was through the BigQuery dataset, or the CrUX Dashboard built on top of this. While that’s great for querying the CrUX data, it’s a little slow for a dashboard and suffers from capacity issues on release day. The CrUX History API is much more performant for real-time lookups, and also gives a weekly data, rather than being limited to the monthly data. We encourage you to try CrUX Vis as we are intending to replace the CrUX Dashboard in future. We’d love to hear your feedback on CrUX Vis, what features you like, what’s missing. Let us know on this thread: https://lnkd.in/efV4wJf5

Day 30 Wow, what a journey! Today marks the end of my 30-day data analytics challenge, and I’m beyond grateful for everything I’ve learned and everyone who’s joined me along the way. Here are a few of my biggest takeaways: 1. Consistency is Key Tackling data every day has shown me that consistent practice makes a huge difference. From SQL to Python, I’ve become more efficient, confident, and creative. It doesn’t end with the 30-day challenge, we learn everyday. 2. Data is Never Just Numbers Each dataset tells a story. Whether it was analyzing stock trends, customer patterns, or market insights, I’ve realized how data can shape real decisions. 3. Stay Curious The more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. From visualization to insights, there’s always more to explore in this field. 4. Community is Everything The feedback, insights, and encouragement from everyone here have meant so much to me. Thank you all for following along, engaging, and connecting, I couldn't have done it without you. Here’s to more learning, more connections, and more growth. #DataAnalytics #ChallengeComplete #LearningJourney #ThankYou

When I joined my first company in 2018, I was placed on a support project. Data science was buzzing , but I knew nothing about it. I began with the basics on my company’s learning platform, Fresco Play. The content on this platform was simple and easy to grasp. The simplicity kept me motivated, allowing me to complete several modules. Even though the basics seemed basic at the time, they were incredibly valuable. They made advanced concepts less overwhelming later on when I joined a Data Engineering project. The key takeaway is that every small step counts, as long as we start. Each bit of knowledge we gain adds up, and we’ll find it useful as we dive deeper into more complex topics. #LearningJourney #ProfessionalDevelopment #Upskilling #DataScience #CareerGrowth #ContinuousLearning #TechSkills #StartSmallThinkBig
