Let’s address a fear no one likes to admit: What if I figure out my dream job… but can’t actually get it? Here’s what that fear sounds like: 👉 “What if I’m not qualified enough?” 👉 “What if the job I want doesn’t even exist?” 👉 “If I’m not happy in my ‘good enough’ job, maybe no role will ever feel right.” Staying stuck in ‘good enough’ feels riskier than trying something new. That’s why I created Beyond the Ceiling Club. Not only will you figure out what your ideal role looks like—you’ll also learn exactly how to get it. And as you see progress, the fear disappears. Here’s how it works: ✨ Want to pivot to a new group, role, or therapy area? Use the Transferable Skills Worksheet to position you as the best candidate—even without direct experience. ✨ Dream job doesn’t exist yet? Use the Business Case Template to pitch the role to your boss—or have it created for you during interviews. ✨ Feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Use the Career Protocol Framework to identify the right roles, uncover hidden opportunities, and brand yourself as the obvious choice. Dream jobs don’t just happen when you think about them. You need a plan. Inside Beyond the Ceiling Club, you’ll create one. Like Jen: She kept hearing “no” when asking for the role she wanted. After we clarified her business case, her organization created her dream job for her: "I got to write the job description for a role that fits my strengths and passion for strategy and people development. I LOVE IT." This is your chance to stop settling and start building a career that excites you. 💻 Enrollment closes December 15th. Early access to the program materials starts December 16th, and our first live call is January 21st. Apply now and make 2025 the year you step into the career you deserve. Early Career Choices!! 🌟 Deciding on early career choices is crucial as it sets the foundation for your professional journey. In your first job, whether from campus or laterally, the company often dictates your initial role. Within the first 5 years, you must determine whether you lean towards a generalist or a specialist role. A generalist role offers broad exposure across various areas within your function, enhancing your execution skills. On the other hand, a specialist role provides in-depth knowledge in a particular field. Both paths offer growth opportunities, but selecting the right one is key to fulfilling your career aspirations. It's truly a "yehi hai right choice moment"! Take the time to reflect and choose the career path that aligns with your goals. #careerchoices #careerpaths #generalist #specialist

Are you a generalist or a specialist? 🤔 When it comes to our career paths, many of us tend to lean towards one of these two categories. But have you ever considered the benefits of being a generalist before becoming a specialist? Starting our careers as generalists can be immensely valuable. By exploring a variety of profiles and roles, we open ourselves up to new experiences and opportunities for growth. It allows us to discover what truly resonates with us and where we want to focus our expertise. Transitioning from a generalist to a specialist can be a natural progression as we gain more clarity on our career goals. However, diving straight into a specialized role without exploring other options may limit our potential for growth and self-discovery. Although, some people are really self aware to choose what role they really want to pursue. This post is not for them. This is especially important for individuals early in their careers, such as recent graduates or those with limited experience. In my opinion, embracing a generalist approach initially can help pave the way for a more fulfilling and successful career journey. Remember, the journey from generalist to specialist is a personal one, and taking the time to explore different paths can lead to a more fulfilling and purpose-driven career. #CareerAdvice #GeneralistVsSpecialist #CareerGrowth
