I know this may hurt some feelings, but I am here to HELP you grow your biz, not tell you what you want to hear. Dancing in reels is NOT a strategy. Pair it with trending audio, and you have a hot mess! 🫣 Here's why... Late in 2022 and into 2023, Instagram prioritized video content through the algorithm and that simply is not the case anymore as we settle into 2024. So what does that mean for you? Reels shouldn't be the only type of content that you are creating. Do a mix of static/singular graphics, carousels, and reels. Then after a bit, see what has been resonating best with your audience, creating the most engagement, and giving the most value inside your community. Once you gather that data on what is and isn't working, that is your initial strategy that will grow and evolve as your business does. Dancing like no one is watching simply because it is trending isn't going to do your business any favors minus attracting a non-ideal audience. 😬 I will never ask my clients to hop on things that are trending simply because everyone else is doing them - I couldn't care less. What I care about is attracting the delicious client/customer that needs exactly what my client has to offer, and creating content around that. Be sure to keep value, relatability, and your business goals front of mind when it comes to creating content - and most importantly? Don't take it too seriously - then it becomes more of a chore instead of something you get to do! It was essential to choose tracks that complemented the visuals and enhanced the overall viewing experience.👁️🎧 Despite these challenges, the video came together seamlessly. Therefore, creating a new creative concept that outperforms other new creatives requires study, dedication, and persistence. 😍 As a Creative Producer specializing in neuromarketing, it's fascinating to analyze the visual motivations in a creative and also understand what kind of visual cues get that "boost" from the algorithm. 🔩 The first step is to understand what works in each ad network. Evaluate especially the first 3 seconds and understand the visual cues. 🔎 Assess what the competition is doing. Not only games within the genre or sub-genre but also with the same target audience (as well explained by 🦩 Matej Lancaric in one of his majestic articles).
