🎉 Excited to share that I've successfully completed a project that holds special significance to me! 🚀✨ Recently, I had the opportunity to work on creating a predictive model aimed at classifying passenger satisfaction based on various factors provided in the dataset. 📊🔍 The journey involved several pivotal tasks: 🔹 Data Cleaning: Ensuring the dataset was primed and ready for analysis and model building, tackling various tasks to refine the data. 🔹 Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conducting a deep dive into the dataset to uncover patterns, anomalies, trends, and relationships, with the aid of visualizations to enhance understanding. 🔹 Dimensionality Reduction: Implementing techniques to streamline the dataset by reducing the number of features while retaining crucial information. 🔹 SVM Model Development: Training a classification model using Support Vector Machines (SVM) on the training data, followed by rigorous evaluation using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score on the testing data. 📈📉 You can check out the notebook detailing this project here[https://lnkd.in/df4-zDtT]! 📓

About every two weeks, I get an idea that I’m CONVINCED will make me millions 💸. When I was younger, I jumped into it right away and began developing it before someone could “steal” it or do it before me. Then I’d lose months and months into mindless labor before analyzing the existing data and realizing it sucks. Here are five steps I take to verify whether my idea can become something more.

Just wrapped up Module 1 of the fall semester, diving into Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics and Data Acquisition. Sarah Deussing and I analyzed Chicago O'Hare Arrivals using REST and FORM APIs and regression modelling, discovering insights into poor travel days and times for American Airlines passengers. We also tackled LA crime data by crafting a new system to classify victim vulnerability and crime severity, using clustering and prediction models to reveal key factors in determining crime violence. Collaborating with Nolan Santacroce and Adam El-Kadi, we explored NFL players' retirement and created a model that achieved >90% specificity when forecasting retirement within three years.
