A powerful question to ask any financial advisor you may work with: What are all of the ways I will be paying you/your firm for your services❓ It’s a simple concept….but the answer can be incredibly complex. There are a plethora of ways that financial advisors can choose to charge fees. And as long as the client is aware and on board, that is fantastic❗️ At the end of the day, you are buying a service. And hopefully, your advisor is bringing value in multiples of what you are paying 🤝 But you’ll want to know what you are paying to make that determination. Sincerely, An advisor whose had one too many prospective clients confused and upset when we calculate their fee from their current advisor ✏️ #financialplanning

Something I hear often in meetings is that folks wish they would have started thinking about their finances sooner. I couldn't agree with this more! But where to begin? There's a lot of different information out there which can lead to confusion. This is why I recommend finding a financial advisor who aligns with your values, can help you reach your goals and is with you every step of the way to ask questions, talk through concerns and update your plan. If you are looking for a financial advisor, I would love to meet and look over your current plan to ensure that you are exactly where you want to be!

Every financial advisor does things a little bit differently—including how they structure their fees. Key takeaways: How much a financial advisor makes depends on what services they’re providing and how much money you have.
