𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐈𝐁𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐈 This morning, I posted about how IBM Consulting has just boosted Microsoft Copilot, setting a new standard for business transformation. By leveraging AI and machine learning, the enhanced Copilot delivers deeper insights, automates processes, and sharpens decision-making. This collaboration aims to streamline operations and drive efficiency, paving the way for innovation and a competitive edge. I find this type of synergy fascinating to watch. In a recent role, I worked to develop interest in similar synergies by aligning sales processes and knowledge with a custom GPT. This tailored, domain-specific tool can help salespeople at any point in their sales cycle. By providing knowledge to the GPT, salespeople could ask questions like, "𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺'𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 '𝘈𝘤𝘮𝘦𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯'. 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳'𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 '𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘚𝘰𝘏𝘰𝘵'. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘱 3 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘭? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘱 3 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘭?" In a 100% digital sales organization, the responses were incredible, enabling even the newest salesperson to conduct a successful call. It was also able to provide answers to infrequent questions, like 'How do process orders requiring 3rd party billing?" Sky's the limit! #AI #Leadership #Process #Knowledge #BusinessTransformation

How to Develop an AI/ML Strategy for Your Business: As a business owner, you constantly think about long term and short term strategy for your business. As someone new to AI/ML and see more and more news, discussions, products, companies doing it and showing amazing results, you may be wondering where you can start to define your own AI/ML strategy for your businesses. You can ask yourself whether your business needs a ML strategy. It depends which stage your business is at. There are many framework define business stages. Google Cloud outlines a five-phase path to ML, which progresses from one-person operations to leveraging AI/ML for personalization. You start with one person operation, move on to a team, then automation with software solutions, next to big data and analytics, and finally AI/ML. For instance, imagine a one-person lemonade stand with a secret family recipe that scales into a team. As it grows, it utilizes software to automate processes and gathers data for analysis. Finally, with sufficient data, AI/ML can personalize products and services. The AI/ML enable you to scale, automate and personalize your business to serve your customers better. The question isn’t whether you need AI/ML for your business. The question becomes when and how to integrate AI/ML to ensure continuous business evolution. The above example is a high level abstraction of a business case to illustrate the big picture. Your actual AI/ML strategy will depend on your business, your customers, your suppliers, your competitors, and your industry.

The great divide continues to grow bigger. Behemoth global enterprises are deploying and truly utilizing AI to: 1. Automate (decrease cost of activities, admin, waste and inefficiencies) 2. Accelerate (grow market presence, market demand, market offerings) 3. Augment (identify channels, partnerships, new revenue streams, etc.) Read below, the advancement of these technologies and the benefit of such partnerships can be tremendous. Smaller companies, however, are more dabbling or experimenting with AI, without an 'enterprise end state' in mind. Why the difference? Enterprise Architecture. Larger companies mastered the use of Enterprise Architecture 20+ years ago, to see what/where/how new technologies can help them: process, strategy, positioning, automation, all of it. It's not a bunch of people hanging out in a conference room and talking about it. It's a framework and methodology: precise, structured and mechnical. If you don't have a framework to see exactly where, how and how much AI, ERP and other technologies can boost your enterprise, it'll be hard to catch up. Our tech assessment and project management platform, ImplementERP.ai, is perfect for assessing your AI and ERP opportunities. It then serves as the platform to manage the deployment of any technology. Built to manage an ERP project but equally effective for guiding you through any technology opportunity. Know exactly where your technology opportunities are. Implement them to perfection. #ImplementERP #AIforSMEs #EnterpriseArchitecture #MFG #SME

Have we reached the end of SaaS? In an era where artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the tech landscape and commoditizing software capabilities, the question is. . . Does the SaaS industry faces extinction? For nearly two decades, SaaS has dominated the enterprise software market. Its user-friendly approach, coupled with pay-per-use models, lowered barriers to entry and offered businesses the latest access to cutting-edge features so they could solely focus on their core competency. Then AI arrived and the industry is about to be turned on its head. As AI empowers individuals to perform tasks that once required specialized software, the value proposition of many SaaS offerings is being called into question. Consider Salesforce's recent "Agentforce" announcement, a clear indicator that even industry giants are afraid. . . While it's obvious SaaS and enterprise software will remain relevant, they won't be the same. SaaS providers merely integrating AI features into existing products may find themselves particularly vulnerable. The siloed nature of traditional SaaS tools is becoming obsolete. Modern AI agents are expected to pull information from any relevant source, with consolidated application layers tapping into various databases to generate real-time dashboards and actionable insights. It may be premature to declare SaaS "dead," but it's inevitable that it will never be the same. Those who choose complacency and move slowly face a fast track to irrelevance. Innovation has never been more crucial. Source Article: https://lnkd.in/g3ZV2TiW #innovation #future #ai #agenticai

🌐 The Changing Paradigm: From SaaS to SaaS 2.0 with Generative AI 🌐 The tech world is buzzing with a seismic shift—SaaS, once known as "Software as a Service," is evolving into "Service as a Software" thanks to the groundbreaking advancements in Generative AI. Let's explore this exciting transformation! 🖥️ From Software to Service 🛠️ The Traditional Model: Software as a Service (SaaS) In the traditional SaaS model, businesses provide software applications over the internet. These applications offer a range of tools and functionalities, allowing users to perform tasks from anywhere with an internet connection. SaaS brought about significant advantages, including: - Scalability: Easily scalable to accommodate growing business needs. - Accessibility: Available from any device with internet access. - Cost-Effective: Reduces the need for on-premise hardware and maintenance. The Emerging Model: Service as a Software With the advent of Generative AI, we're witnessing a paradigm shift where the service becomes the core of the software. Here's how this new model transforms the landscape: - Integrated Intelligence: AI is not just an add-on feature; it’s embedded within the software, making it capable of performing complex tasks autonomously. - Proactive Assistance: Instead of waiting for user input, AI-driven services can anticipate needs and act proactively, offering solutions before problems arise. - Continuous Learning: Generative AI learns and adapts from every interaction, continuously improving its performance and the value it provides. - End-to-End Automation: From simple tasks like scheduling meetings to complex processes like data analysis and decision-making, AI handles it all. 📈 What This Means for Businesses - Enhanced Efficiency: By automating routine tasks, AI frees up valuable time for employees to focus on strategic initiatives. - Personalization at Scale: Generative AI can deliver highly personalized experiences by understanding and adapting to individual user preferences. - Insightful Analytics: AI Data Analysts can process vast amounts of data, uncovering trends and insights that drive informed business decisions. - Seamless Integration: These AI-driven services integrate seamlessly with existing workflows, enhancing overall productivity without requiring a complete overhaul of systems. 🚀 Embrace the Future As we move from traditional SaaS to the new paradigm of Service as a Software, businesses must adapt to stay competitive. The integration of Generative AI into services is not just a trend—it’s the future of how we work and interact with technology. #AIRevolution #GenerativeAI #SaaS2.0 #FutureOfWork #TechInnovation
